人必稱他們為「聖民」，為「耶和華的贖民」；你也必稱為「被眷顧、不撇棄的城」。

但基督為兒子，治理神的家；我們若將可誇的盼望和膽量堅持到底，便是他的家了。

我還告訴你，你是彼得，我要把我的教會建造在這磐石上；陰間的權柄不能勝過他。

她丈夫以利加拿對她說：「哈拿啊，你為何哭泣，不吃飯，心裏愁悶呢？有我不比十個兒子還好嗎？」
