Blessed is the one who does this— the person who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps their hands from doing any evil.”

Blessed is the person who does what I want them to. They are faithful in keeping the Sabbath day. They do not misuse it. They do not do what is evil on that day.”

Blessed are all those who are careful to do this. Blessed are those who honor my Sabbath days of rest and keep themselves from doing wrong.

Happy is the person who does this, the son of man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.

Blessed is a man who does this, And a son of man who takes hold of it; Who keeps from profaning the Sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

Happy is the man who does this, anyone who maintains this, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.

Blessed[ is] the man[ that] doeth this, and the son of man[ that] layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

The people who do this will be blessed, the people who commit themselves to obedience, who observe the Sabbath and do not defile it, who refrain from doing anything that is wrong.

If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, and the holy of Jehovah honorable; and shalt honor it, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

Thus saith Jehovah, Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work: but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.

and hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am Jehovah your God.

Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily ye shall keep my sabbaths: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am Jehovah who sanctifieth you.Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that profaneth it shall surely be put to death; for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a sabbath of solemn rest, holy to Jehovah: whosoever doeth any work on the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am Jehovah that sanctifieth them.

Praise ye Jehovah. Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, That delighteth greatly in his commandments.

But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

If ye know these things, blessed are ye if ye do them.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night.And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, And speaketh truth in his heart;He that slandereth not with his tongue, Nor doeth evil to his friend, Nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor;In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honoreth them that fear Jehovah; He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;He that putteth not out his money to interest, Nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for; And by the fear of Jehovah men depart from evil.

Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell for evermore.

Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?

Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am Jehovah.

A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil; But the fool beareth himself insolently, and is confident.

Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: Remove thy foot from evil.

Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

Also the foreigners that join themselves to Jehovah, to minister unto him, and to love the name of Jehovah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast my covenant;

I have refrained my feet from every evil way, That I might observe thy word.

Blessed are they that are perfect in the way, Who walk in the law of Jehovah.Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, That seek him with the whole heart.Yea, they do no unrighteousness; They walk in his ways.Thou hast commanded us thy precepts, That we should observe them diligently.Oh that my ways were established To observe thy statutes!

For thus saith Jehovah of the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:

Blessed are they that keep justice, And he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: Keep her; for she is thy life.

The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: He that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

but the seventh day is a sabbath unto Jehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy man- servant, nor thy maid- servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Blessed is every one that feareth Jehovah, That walketh in his ways.

It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from that withdraw not thy hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth from them all.

Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
