Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Let those who are evil stop doing evil things. And let them quit thinking evil thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord. The Lord will show them his tender love. Let them turn to our God. He is always ready to forgive.

Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.

The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the LORD, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.

One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper, But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion.

Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded.Be miserable, and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into gloom.Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

“ But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.All his offenses which he has committed will not be remembered against him; because of his righteousness which he has practiced, he will live.Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God,“ rather than that he would turn from his ways and live?

I have wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud And your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”

But when I say to the wicked,‘ You will certainly die,’ and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness,if a wicked person returns a pledge, pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the statutes which ensure life without committing injustice, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.None of his sins that he has committed will be remembered against him. He has practiced justice and righteousness; he shall certainly live.

It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost.Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost sinner Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life.

When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their evil way, then God relented of the disaster which He had declared He would bring on them. So He did not do it.

“ I, I alone, am the one who wipes out your wrongdoings for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.

and My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

But when a wicked person turns away from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life.Since he understood and turned away from all his offenses which he had committed, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.But the house of Israel says,‘ The way of the Lord is not right.’ Are My ways not right, house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are not right?“ Therefore I will judge you, house of Israel, each according to his conduct,” declares the Lord God.“ Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you.Hurl away from you all your offenses which you have committed and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! For why should you die, house of Israel?For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God.“ Therefore, repent and live!”

Wash your heart from evil, Jerusalem, So that you may be saved. How long will your wicked thoughts Lodge within you?

If I regard wickedness in my heart, The Lord will not hear;

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Say to them,‘ As I live!’ declares the Lord God,‘ I take no pleasure at all in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then should you die, house of Israel?’

Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

When I say to the wicked,‘ You will certainly die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way so that he may live, that wicked person shall die for wrongdoing, but his blood I will require from your hand.However if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die for wrongdoing, but you have saved yourself.

but continually proclaimed to those in Damascus first, and in Jerusalem, and then all the region of Judea, and even to the Gentiles, that they are to repent and turn to God, performing deeds consistent with repentance.

Now go and learn what this means:‘ I desire compassion, rather than sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

You have no part or share in this matter, for your heart is not right before God.Therefore, repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart will be forgiven you.

Go and proclaim these words toward the north and say,‘ Return, faithless Israel,’ declares the Lord;‘ I will not look at you in anger. For I am gracious,’ declares the Lord;‘ I will not be angry forever.Only acknowledge your wrongdoing, That you have revolted against the Lord your God, And have scattered your favors to the strangers under every leafy tree, And you have not obeyed My voice,’ declares the Lord.

to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He favored us in the Beloved.In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His gracewhich He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight

But the Lord said to him,“ Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and of the dish; but your inside is full of greed and wickedness.You foolish ones, did He who made the outside not make the inside also?

Return, Israel, to the Lord your God, For you have stumbled because of your wrongdoing.Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him,“ Take away all guilt And receive us graciously, So that we may present the fruit of our lips.

“ Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil,Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor, Obtain justice for the orphan, Plead for the widow’s case.“ Come now, and let us debate your case,” Says the Lord,“ Though your sins are as scarlet, They shall become as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.

“ Speak kindly to Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has ended, That her guilt has been removed, That she has received of the Lord’s hand Double for all her sins.”

“ You shall say to them,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Do people fall and not get up? Does one turn away and not repent?Why has this people, Jerusalem, Turned away in continual apostasy? They hold on to deceit, They refuse to return.I have listened and heard, They have spoken what is not right; No one repented of his wickedness, Saying,‘ What have I done?’ Everyone turned to his own course, Like a horse charging into the battle.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self indulgence.You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may also become clean.

All these evil things come from within and defile the person.”

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of mankind was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually.

for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.

For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little, loves little.”

For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery,

Their feet run to evil, And they hurry to shed innocent blood; Their thoughts are thoughts of wrongdoing, Devastation and destruction are in their paths.

Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in faithfulness and truth;who keeps faithfulness for thousands, who forgives wrongdoing, violation of His Law, and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, inflicting the punishment of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”

But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and those things defile the person.For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, acts of adultery, other immoral sexual acts, thefts, false testimonies, and slanderous statements.

As for a rogue, his weapons are evil; He devises wicked schemes To destroy the poor with slander, Even though the needy one speaks what is right.

‘ The Lord is slow to anger and abundant in mercy, forgiving wrongdoing and violation of His Law; but He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, inflicting the punishment of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generations.’Please forgive the guilt of this people in accordance with the greatness of Your mercy, just as You also have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”

Therefore the showers have been withheld, And there has been no spring rain. Yet you had a prostitute’s forehead; You refused to be ashamed.

For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My favor will not be removed from you, Nor will My covenant of peace be shaken,” Says the Lord who has compassion on you.

The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one offense, resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the gracious gift arose from many offenses, resulting in justification.For if by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.So then, as through one offense the result was condemnation to all mankind, so also through one act of righteousness the result was justification of life to all mankind.For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.The Law came in so that the offense would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Israel, wait for the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption.

Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it has run its course, brings forth death.

Also let none of you devise evil in your heart against another, and do not love perjury; for all these things are what I hate,’ declares the Lord.”

Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.
