Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.

See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples.

I made him a witness to the nations. He became a ruler and commander over them.

Behold, I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples.

See how I used him to display my power among the peoples. I made him a leader among the nations.

Since I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples,

Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people.

Look, I made him a witness to nations, a ruler and commander of nations.”

but they will serve Yahweh their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.

“ Know therefore and discern that from the going out of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, will be seven weeks and sixty- two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.

I will set up one shepherd over them, and he will feed them, even my servant David. He will feed them, and he will be their shepherd.I, Yahweh, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them. I, Yahweh, have spoken it.

Afterward the children of Israel shall return, and seek Yahweh their God, and David their king, and shall come with trembling to Yahweh and to his blessings in the last days.

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood—

Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,

For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Pilate therefore said to him,“ Are you a king then?” Jesus answered,“ You say that I am a king. For this reason I have been born, and for this reason I have come into the world, that I should testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”

For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on David’s throne, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Armies will perform this.

“ Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”

For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

I command you before God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate testified the good confession,

Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying,“ All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Yahweh says,“ I have answered you in an acceptable time. I have helped you in a day of salvation. I will preserve you and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage,saying to those who are bound,‘ Come out!’; to those who are in darkness,‘ Show yourselves!’“ They shall feed along the paths, and their pasture shall be on all treeless heights.They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he who has mercy on them will lead them. He will guide them by springs of water.

You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known shall serve me.

You call me,‘ Teacher’ and‘ Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.

punishing those who don’t know God, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus,

“ To the angel of the assembly in Laodicea write:“ The Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of God’s creation, says these things:

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, being small among the clans of Judah, out of you one will come out to me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings out are from of old, from ancient times.Therefore he will abandon them until the time that she who is in labor gives birth. Then the rest of his brothers will return to the children of Israel.He shall stand, and shall shepherd in the strength of Yahweh, in the majesty of the name of Yahweh his God: and they will live, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth.

‘ You Bethlehem, land of Judah, are in no way least among the princes of Judah: for out of you shall come a governor, who shall shepherd my people, Israel.’”

If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.

But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
