See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples.

I made him a witness to the nations. He became a ruler and commander over them.

Behold, I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples.

See how I used him to display my power among the peoples. I made him a leader among the nations.

Since I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples,

Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people.

You have delivered me from the attacks of the people; you have made me the head of nations. People I did not know now serve me, (niv)

He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. (niv)

“ But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor bears a son, and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites.He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God.
