爾勿懼、因爾不復愧怍、爾勿慚、因爾不復受辱、必忘爾幼年之恥、不復念爾居寡時之辱、

“ Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.

“ Do not be afraid. You will not be put to shame anymore. Do not be afraid of being dishonored. People will no longer make fun of you. You will forget the time when you suffered as slaves in Egypt. You will no longer remember the shame of being a widow in Babylon.

“ Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.

“ Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood.

Fear thou not; for I[ am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I[ am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon[ my] thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together[ that are] makers of idols.[ But] Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart[ is] my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.

For your shame[ ye shall have] double; and[ for] confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of[ her] friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.So I bought her to me for fifteen[ pieces] of silver, and[ for] an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for[ another] man: so[ will] I also[ be] for thee.For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and[ without] teraphim:Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.

Fear not, thou worm Jacob,[ and] ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these[ things]; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon[ thine] head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.

And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare,[ and] wast polluted in thy blood.

Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I[ am] the LORD:That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.
