因为圣经上说：“看啊，我在锡安放了一块蒙拣选的宝贵房角石，信靠祂的人必不会蒙羞。”

制造偶像的都必蒙羞受辱，一同惭愧。但以色列必蒙耶和华拯救，享受永远的救恩，永远不会再蒙羞受辱。

认识公义、铭记我训诲的人啊，听我说。你们不要害怕人的辱骂，也不要畏惧他们的毁谤。

你们曾经蒙受耻辱，如今将得到双倍的福分；你们曾经遭受屈辱，如今将因得到产业而快乐。你们将在自己的土地上得到双倍的福分，享受永远的快乐。

耶和华对何西阿说：“你要再去爱那个另有新欢的淫妇，像耶和华爱以色列人一样爱她。尽管他们祭拜别的神明，喜爱葡萄饼，耶和华仍然爱他们。”于是，我用一百七十克银子和一百五十公斤大麦赎回她，对她说：“你要和我住许多日子。这期间不可行淫，不可亲近别的男人，我也不与你同房。”以色列人也要有许多日子没有君王和首领，没有祭祀和神柱，也没有以弗得和家庭神像。之后，以色列人将回心转意，寻求他们的上帝耶和华，归向他们的君王大卫。在末后的日子，他们将怀着敬畏的心归向耶和华，领受祂的恩惠。

“如蛆如虫的雅各啊，以色列人啊，不要怕！我耶和华必帮助你。以色列的圣者是你的救赎主。

因为你忘记了幼年的日子，做这些事来惹我发怒，我要照你的所作所为报应你。因为你不仅行一切可憎的事，还放荡淫乱。这是主耶和华说的。

你做这一切可憎、淫乱的事，忘记了你幼年赤身露体，在血泊中挣扎的日子。

然而，我顾念在你幼年时与你所立的约，我要与你立一个永远的约。你接纳你姊妹的时候，会想起自己的所作所为并自觉羞愧。我要将你姊妹赐给你作女儿，我这样做并不是出于我与你所立的约。我要和你立约，使你知道我是耶和华。我要赦免你所有的罪，那时你想起这事会羞愧难当，不敢再开口。这是主耶和华说的。’”
