He will teach us about his ways so that we may walk in his paths.” For instruction will go out of Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.He will settle disputes among the nations and provide arbitration for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nation will not take up the sword against nation, and they will never again train for war.

The scepter will not depart from Judah or the staff from between his feet until he whose right it is comes and the obedience of the peoples belongs to him.

Your offspring will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out toward the west, the east, the north, and the south. All the peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.

I will glorify my beautiful house.Who are these who fly like a cloud, like doves to their shelters?Yes, the coasts and islands will wait for me with the ships of Tarshish in the lead, to bring your children from far away, their silver and gold with them, for the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, who has glorified you.Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Although I struck you in my wrath, yet I will show mercy to you with my favor.Your city gates will always be open; they will never be shut day or night so that the wealth of the nations may be brought into you, with their kings being led in procession.For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve you will perish; those nations will be annihilated.The glory of Lebanon will come to you— its pine, elm, and cypress together— to beautify the place of my sanctuary, and I will glorify my dwelling place.

Be joyful, rejoice together, you ruins of Jerusalem! For the LORD has comforted his people; he has redeemed Jerusalem.

See, these will come from far away, from the north and from the west, and from the land of Sinim.

They will say,“ This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. The cities that were once ruined, desolate, and demolished are now fortified and inhabited.”Then the nations that remain around you will know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt what was demolished and have replanted what was desolate. That is my name, and I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols.The past events have indeed happened. Now I declare new events; I announce them to you before they occur.”Sing a new song to the LORD; sing his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea with all that fills it, you coasts and islands with your inhabitants.Let the desert and its cities shout, the settlements where Kedar dwells cry aloud. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing for joy; let them cry out from the mountaintops.Let them give glory to the LORD and declare his praise in the coasts and islands.

Look up, and look around. They all gather together; they come to you. As I live”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ you will wear all your children as jewelry, and put them on as a bride does.For your waste and desolate places and your land marked by ruins will now be indeed too small for the inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up will be far away.

Strangers will stand and feed your flocks, and foreigners will be your plowmen and vinedressers.But you will be called the LORD’s priests; they will speak of you as ministers of our God; you will eat the wealth of the nations, and you will boast in their riches.In place of your shame, you will have a double portion; in place of disgrace, they will rejoice over their share. So they will possess double in their land, and eternal joy will be theirs.For I the LORD love justice; I hate robbery and injustice; I will faithfully reward my people and make a permanent covenant with them.Their descendants will be known among the nations, and their posterity among the peoples. All who see them will recognize that they are a people the LORD has blessed.

As it also says in Hosea, I will call Not My People, My People, and she who is Unloved, Beloved.And it will be in the place where they were told, you are not my people, there they will be called sons of the living God.

The wilderness and the dry land will be glad; the desert will rejoice and blossom like a wildflower.It will blossom abundantly and will also rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.

Now if their transgression brings riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fullness bring!

so you will summon a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you will run to you. For the LORD your God, even the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you.”

This is what the LORD says: I will answer you in a time of favor, and I will help you in the day of salvation. I will keep you, and I will appoint you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land, to make them possess the desolate inheritances,

But I ask,“ Did they not hear?” Yes, they did: Their voice has gone out to the whole earth, and their words to the ends of the world.

if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith and are not shifted away from the hope of the gospel that you heard. This gospel has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become a servant of it.

They will not harm or destroy each other on my entire holy mountain, for the land will be as full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is filled with water.On that day the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will look to him for guidance, and his resting place will be glorious.On that day the Lord will extend his hand a second time to recover the remnant of his people who survive— from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the coasts and islands of the west.He will lift up a banner for the nations and gather the dispersed of Israel; he will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
