If God is for us, who can be against us?Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all– how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things?Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.Who is the one who will condemn? Christ is the one who died( and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us.Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will trouble, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?As it is written,“ For your sake we encounter death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; no one will snatch them from my hand.My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from my Father’s hand.The Father and I are one.”

If anyone dares to challenge you, it will not be my doing! Whoever tries to challenge you will be defeated.

The one who vindicates me is close by. Who dares to argue with me? Let us confront each other! Who is my accuser? Let him challenge me!

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For this reason every one of your faithful followers should pray to you while there is a window of opportunity. Certainly when the surging water rises, it will not reach them.

As he approached the den, he called out to Daniel in a worried voice,“ Daniel, servant of the living God, was your God whom you continually serve able to rescue you from the lions?”

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying,“ The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the ruling authority of his Christ, have now come, because the accuser of our brothers and sisters, the one who accuses them day and night before our God, has been thrown down.

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.

and be found in him, not because I have my own righteousness derived from the law, but because I have the righteousness that comes by way of Christ’s faithfulness– a righteousness from God that is in fact based on Christ’s faithfulness.

God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God.

It will be like a hungry man dreaming that he is eating, only to awaken and find that his stomach is empty. It will be like a thirsty man dreaming that he is drinking, only to awaken and find that he is still weak and his thirst unquenched. So it will be for the horde from all the nations that fight against Mount Zion.

Then you will find joy in your relationship to the LORD, and I will give you great prosperity, and cause crops to grow on the land I gave to your ancestor Jacob.” Know for certain that the LORD has spoken.

For you, O God, hear my vows; you grant me the reward that belongs to your loyal followers.

Your justice, O God, extends to the skies above; you have done great things. O God, who can compare to you?

For Christ is the end of the law, with the result that there is righteousness for everyone who believes.

But now, freed from sin and enslaved to God, you have your benefit leading to sanctification, and the end is eternal life.For the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I will come and tell about the mighty acts of the sovereign LORD. I will proclaim your justice– yours alone.

Under his rule Judah will enjoy safety and Israel will live in security. This is the name he will go by:‘ The LORD has provided us with justice.’

He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

Next I saw Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, with Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.The LORD said to Satan,“ May the LORD rebuke you, Satan! May the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Isn’t this man like a burning stick snatched from the fire?”Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood there before the angel.The angel spoke up to those standing all around,“ Remove his filthy clothes.” Then he said to Joshua,“ I have freely forgiven your iniquity and will dress you in fine clothing.”

From Simeon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, have been granted a faith just as precious as ours.

Does he judge through such deep darkness?Thick clouds are a veil for him, so he does not see us, as he goes back and forth in the vault of heaven.’Will you keep to the old path that evil men have walked–men who were carried off before their time, when the flood was poured out on their foundations?They were saying to God,‘ Turn away from us,’ and‘ What can the Almighty do to us?’But it was he who filled their houses with good things– yet the counsel of the wicked was far from me.The righteous see their destruction and rejoice; the innocent mock them scornfully, saying,‘ Surely our enemies are destroyed, and fire consumes their wealth.’“ Reconcile yourself with God, and be at peace with him; in this way your prosperity will be good.Accept instruction from his mouth and store up his words in your heart.If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; if you remove wicked behavior far from your tent,and throw your gold in the dust– your gold of Ophir among the rocks in the ravines–then the Almighty himself will be your gold, and the choicest silver for you.Surely then you will delight yourself in the Almighty, and will lift up your face toward God.You will pray to him and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him.Whatever you decide on a matter, it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways.When people are brought low and you say‘ Lift them up!’ then he will save the downcast;he will deliver even someone who is not innocent, who will escape through the cleanness of your hands.”
