你们要向天举目，观看下面的地；天必像烟云消散，地必如衣服渐渐破旧；其上的居民也要如此死亡。惟有我的救恩永远长存，我的公义也不废掉。知道公义、将我的训诲存在心中的人哪，当听从我！不要怕人的辱骂，也不要因人的毁谤惊惶。

只是我不将我的慈爱全然收回，也不叫我的信实废除。我必不毁损我的约，也不改变我口中所出的话。

我曾与他立生命和平安的约。我将这两样赐给他，使他存敬畏的心；他就敬畏我，惧怕我的名。

我因涨溢的怒气，一时向你转脸，但我要以永远的慈爱怜悯你；这是耶和华—你的救赎主说的。

但愿赐平安的上帝，就是那凭永约之血，把群羊的大牧人—我们主耶稣从死人中领出来的上帝，在各样善事上装备你们，使你们遵行他的旨意；又藉着耶稣基督在我们里面行他所喜悦的事。愿荣耀归给他，直到永永远远。阿们！

但主的日子要像贼一样来到；那日，天必在轰然一声中消失，天体都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的万物都要烧尽。既然这一切都要如此消失，你们处世为人必须圣洁敬虔，等候并催促上帝的日子来到。因为在那日，天要被火烧而消灭，天体都要被烈火熔化。但照他的应许，我们等候新天新地，其中有正义常住。

他们不饥不渴，炎热和烈日必不伤害他们；因为怜悯他们的必引导他们，领他们到水泉旁边。

我的家在上帝面前不是如此吗？上帝与我立永远的约，这约既全备又稳妥。我的一切救恩和我一切所想望的，他岂不成全吗？

我实在告诉你们，就是到天地都废去，律法的一点一画也不能废去，直到一切都实现。

我还告诉你，你是彼得，我要把我的教会建造在这磐石上，阴间的权柄不能胜过它。

他救了我们，并不是因我们自己所行的义，而是照他的怜悯，藉着重生的洗和圣灵的更新。
