你們當就近我來；側耳而聽，就必得活。我必與你們立永約，就是應許大衛那可靠的恩典。

你們要向天舉目，觀看下地；因為天必像煙雲消散，地必如衣服漸漸舊了；其上的居民也要如此死亡。惟有我的救恩永遠長存；我的公義也不廢掉。知道公義、將我訓誨存在心中的民，要聽我言！不要怕人的辱罵，也不要因人的毀謗驚惶。

只是我必不將我的慈愛全然收回，也必不叫我的信實廢棄。我必不背棄我的約，也不改變我口中所出的。

我曾與他立生命和平安的約。我將這兩樣賜給他，使他存敬畏的心，他就敬畏我，懼怕我的名。

我的怒氣漲溢，頃刻之間向你掩面，卻要以永遠的慈愛憐恤你。這是耶和華－你的救贖主說的。

如今耶穌所得的職任是更美的，正如他作更美之約的中保；這約原是憑更美之應許立的。那前約若沒有瑕疵，就無處尋求後約了。所以主指責他的百姓說：日子將到，我要與以色列家和猶大家另立新約，不像我拉着他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及的時候，與他們所立的約。因為他們不恆心守我的約，我也不理他們。這是主說的。主又說：那些日子以後，我與以色列家所立的約乃是這樣：我要將我的律法放在他們裏面，寫在他們心上；我要作他們的神；他們要作我的子民。他們不用各人教導自己的鄉鄰和自己的弟兄，說：你該認識主；因為他們從最小的到至大的，都必認識我。我要寬恕他們的不義，不再記念他們的罪愆。既說新約，就以前約為舊了；但那漸舊漸衰的，就必快歸無有了。

但願賜平安的神，就是那憑永約之血、使羣羊的大牧人－我主耶穌從死裏復活的神，在各樣善事上成全你們，叫你們遵行他的旨意；又藉着耶穌基督在你們心裏行他所喜悅的事。願榮耀歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

但主的日子要像賊來到一樣。那日，天必大有響聲廢去，有形質的都要被烈火銷化，地和其上的物都要燒盡了。這一切既然都要如此銷化，你們為人該當怎樣聖潔，怎樣敬虔，切切仰望神的日子來到。在那日，天被火燒就銷化了，有形質的都要被烈火鎔化。但我們照他的應許，盼望新天新地，有義居在其中。

不飢不渴，炎熱和烈日必不傷害他們；因為憐恤他們的必引導他們，領他們到水泉旁邊。

我家在神面前並非如此；神卻與我立永遠的約。這約凡事堅穩，關乎我的一切救恩和我一切所想望的，他豈不為我成就嗎？

我實在告訴你們，就是到天地都廢去了，律法的一點一畫也不能廢去，都要成全。

我還告訴你，你是彼得，我要把我的教會建造在這磐石上；陰間的權柄不能勝過他。

他便救了我們；並不是因我們自己所行的義，乃是照他的憐憫，藉着重生的洗和聖靈的更新。
