神使那无罪的，替我们成为罪，好叫我们在他里面成为神的义。

“看哪，我的仆人，我所扶持、所拣选、心里所喜悦的！我已将我的灵赐给他；他必将公理传给外邦。他不喧嚷，不扬声，也不使街上听见他的声音。压伤的芦苇，他不折断；将残的灯火，他不吹灭。他凭真实将公理传开。

因我们的大祭司并非不能体恤我们的软弱。他也曾凡事受过试探，与我们一样，只是他没有犯罪。

有亚利马太的约瑟前来，他是尊贵的议士，也是等候神国的。他放胆进去见彼拉多，求耶稣的身体；彼拉多诧异耶稣已经死了，便叫百夫长来，问他耶稣死了久不久。既从百夫长得知实情，就把耶稣的尸首赐给约瑟。约瑟买了细麻布，把耶稣取下来，用细麻布裹好，安放在磐石中凿出来的坟墓里，又滚过一块石头来挡住墓门。

这些事以后，有亚利马太人约瑟，是耶稣的门徒，只因怕犹太人，就暗暗地作门徒。他来求彼拉多，要把耶稣的身体领去。彼拉多允准，他就把耶稣的身体领去了。又有尼哥底母，就是先前夜里去见耶稣的，带着没药和沉香约有一百斤前来。他们就照犹太人殡葬的规矩，把耶稣的身体用细麻布加上香料裹好了。在耶稣钉十字架的地方有一个园子，园子里有一座新坟墓，是从来没有葬过人的。只因是犹太人的预备日，又因那坟墓近，他们就把耶稣安放在那里。

有一个人名叫约瑟，是个议士，为人善良公义；众人所谋所为，他并没有附从。他本是犹太、亚利马太城里素常盼望神国的人。这人去见彼拉多，求耶稣的身体，就取下来，用细麻布裹好，安放在石头凿成的坟墓里；那里头从来没有葬过人。

像这样圣洁、无邪恶、无玷污、远离罪人、高过诸天的大祭司，原是与我们合宜的。

而且埋葬了；又照圣经所说，第三天复活了，
