蓋爾素如歧路之羊、今歸爾靈之司牧監督矣、

蓋基督亦一次為罪受苦、義者代不義者、以導我儕歸上帝、其身雖受死、其靈則見甦、

我如亡羊、行於歧路、其尋爾僕、因我不忘爾誡命兮、

夫耶穌為我罪愆而被付、且為我見義而復起焉、

如經云、無義人、無其一也、無曉悟者、無尋求上帝者、皆棄正路、同為無益、無行善者、其一亦無也、厥喉如未封之墓、舌施詭詐、脣藏蝮毒、口盈呪詛荼苦、其足疾趨以流人血、其途翦滅殘傷、不識平康之路、目無上帝可畏、○我儕知律所言、乃為律下者言之、以塞眾口、使舉世服罪於上帝前、

當知使罪人反自迷途、乃救一人免死、掩罪多矣、

斯犬饕餮、不知饜足、斯牧不明、各趨其途、悉求利己、

耶穌設喻語之曰、爾中孰有百羊而亡其一、不姑舍九十九羊於野、往覓其亡者、以至於獲乎、獲之則喜、負於肩、歸而集其友鄰、謂之曰、與我同樂、我之亡羊已獲矣、我語汝、罪人有一改悔者、則在天為之樂亦然、較為九十九義人、無須改悔者尤甚也、

作惡之輩、當離其途、不義之人、當易其念、歸於耶和華、彼必恤之、歸於我上帝、彼必普施赦宥、

耶和華願損傷之、俾遘病患、彼獻己生為贖罪祭、必見厥裔、其壽綿長、耶和華之志、藉其手而大成、

設人有百羊而亡其一、爾意若何、豈不姑舍九十九羊於山、往覓其亡乎、若遇之、我誠語汝、其為此一羊而喜、勝於為九十九之未亡者矣、如是、亡此小子之一、非爾天父意也、○

無端憾我者、多於我首之髮、無理仇我、欲滅我者、強而有力、我未嘗奪諸人、必須償之兮、

我謂惡人曰、爾必死、如爾不警之、不以言戒之、使彼轉離其惡途、以救其生命、則彼惡人必死於其罪、我必索其血於爾手、
