Therefore My people will know My name; therefore they will know on that day that I am He who says: Here I am.”

我必使選民、尊崇我名、知我有應許、必踐前言。

故當是日、我民必識我名、必知應許者、乃我也、我在此矣、○

Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I.”

So the day will come when my people will really know the meaning of my name. They will know what kind of God I am. They will know that I told them ahead of time they would return to their land. They will know that it was I.”

Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore in that day they shall know that it is I who speak; here I am.”

But I will reveal my name to my people, and they will come to know its power. Then at last they will recognize that I am the one who speaks to them.”

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.And each person will not teach his fellow citizen, and each his brother, saying,“ Know the Lord,” because they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them.

When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the countries of their enemies, I will demonstrate My holiness through them in the sight of many nations.They will know that I am Yahweh their God when I regather them to their own land after having exiled them among the nations. I will leave none of them behind.I will no longer hide My face from them, for I will pour out My Spirit on the house of Israel.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

Though I sow them among the nations, they will remember Me in the distant lands; they and their children will live and return.I will bring them back from the land of Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will bring them to the land of Gilead and to Lebanon, but it will not be enough for them.Yahweh will pass through the sea of distress and strike the waves of the sea; all the depths of the Nile will dry up. The pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will come to an end.I will strengthen them in Yahweh, and they will march in His name— this is Yahweh’s declaration.

You will know that I am Yahweh, My people, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.I will put My Spirit in you, and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I am Yahweh. I have spoken, and I will do it.” This is the declaration of the Lord.

Your name, God, like Your praise, reaches to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is filled with justice.

God is not a man who lies, or a son of man who changes His mind. Does He speak and not act, or promise and not fulfill?

The past events have indeed happened. Now I declare new events; I announce them to you before they occur.”

You will know that I am Yahweh, house of Israel, when I have dealt with you because of My name rather than according to your evil ways and corrupt acts.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

The Lord came down in a cloud, stood with him there, and proclaimed His name Yahweh.Then the Lord passed in front of him and proclaimed: Yahweh— Yahweh is a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in faithful love and truth,maintaining faithful love to a thousand generations, forgiving wrongdoing, rebellion, and sin. But He will not leave the guilty unpunished, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ wrongdoing on the children and grandchildren to the third and fourth generation.

He said,“ I will cause all My goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim the name Yahweh before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”

Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down to you with their faces to the ground, and lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am Yahweh; those who put their hope in Me will not be put to shame.

I will indeed bless you, and I will greatly multiply you.And so, after waiting patiently, Abraham obtained the promise.For men swear by something greater than themselves, and for them a confirming oath ends every dispute.Because God wanted to show His unchangeable purpose even more clearly to the heirs of the promise, He guaranteed it with an oath,so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us.
