彼曾面目顦顇、甚於世人、形容枯槁、逾於人子、令眾駭異、

維昔憂心戚戚、容顏枯槁、幾不類人、見者盡駭。

維昔相貌憔悴、異乎常人、形容枯槁、迥別世人、使眾驚駭、

Just as there were many who were appalled at him— his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness—

Many people were shocked when they saw him. He was so scarred that he no longer looked like a person. His body was so twisted that he did not look like a human being anymore.

As many were astonished at you— his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind—

But many were amazed when they saw him. His face was so disfigured he seemed hardly human, and from his appearance, one would scarcely know he was a man.

Just as many were appalled at you— his appearance was so disfigured that he did not look like a man, and his form did not resemble a human being—

Just as many were appalled at you, My people, So His appearance was marred beyond that of a man, And His form beyond the sons of mankind.

Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage was marred more than any man, And His form more than the sons of men;

他在耶和華面前如嫩芽生長，又像根出於乾旱之地；他沒有佳形、威榮，可以讓我們仰視他；也沒有美貌，可以讓我們仰慕他。他被藐視、遭人厭棄，是個受痛苦、知憂患的人；他像一個被人掩面不看的人，他被藐視，連我們也不尊重他。他誠然擔當了我們的憂患，背負了我們的痛苦；我們卻認為他受責罰，被神擊打、苦待了。其實他是為我們的過犯被刺透，為我們的罪孽被壓傷。因他受的懲罰，我們得平安；因他受的鞭傷，我們得痊癒。

我把我的背脊轉給擊打我的人，把我的臉頰轉給扯我鬍鬚的人；我沒有掩面躲避羞辱和唾沫。

我能數算我全身的骨頭；他們又瞪著眼看我。

耶穌連一句話也不回答，以致總督感到非常驚奇。

當時他們就往他臉上吐唾沫，用拳頭打他，也有人用手掌打他，

接著，耶穌上了船和他們在一起。這時候風就停了。門徒們心裡感到極其驚訝，

門徒們越發驚訝，彼此說：「那麼，誰能得救呢？」

他們聽了，感到驚奇，就離開耶穌走了。在那一天，撒都該人來到耶穌那裡，他們一向說沒有復活的事。他們問耶穌，

用荊棘編了冠冕，戴在他的頭上，又把一根蘆葦放在他的右手裡，然後跪在他面前，戲弄他說：「萬歲，猶太人的王！」接著向他吐唾沫，拿蘆葦打他的頭。

我的力量如同瓦片一樣枯乾，我的舌頭緊貼在上顎；你把我放在死亡的塵土中。

但我是蟲，不是人；我遭人辱罵，被民眾輕視。所有看見我的都嘲笑我；他們撇著嘴搖著頭說：

當耶穌講完了這些話，眾人都對他的教導驚嘆不已，

那女孩隨即起來，開始走動。她那時十二歲。大家立刻目瞪口呆，大為驚訝。

因為我的年日如煙雲消逝，我的骨頭如爐炭燒焦，我的心如牧草，受摧殘而枯乾，以致我忘記了吃飯。因我嘆息的聲音，我的皮包著骨頭。

我在眾人眼中成了某種惡兆，但你是我堅固的避難所。

人們極其驚訝，說：「他所做的一切都好！他甚至使聾子聽見，使啞巴說話。」

所有聽他講說的人，都對他的悟性和對答十分驚訝。

在上耶路撒冷的路途中，耶穌一直走在前頭，門徒們驚訝不已，跟著的人也懼怕了。耶穌又把十二使徒帶到一邊，開始告訴他們將要發生在他身上的事，

又蒙住他的眼睛問他，說：「你說預言吧！打你的是誰？」

大家都驚訝不已，彼此談論說：「這是什麼事呢？他帶著權柄和能力命令那些汙靈，它們就出來了！」

於是大家都驚訝不已，就不住地榮耀神，並且滿懷敬畏之心說：「我們今天看到奇妙的事了！」
