Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again.

and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. (niv)

On that day holy to the Lord will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the Lord’s house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar.Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord Almighty. (niv)

Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning’s womb. (niv)

See how the faithful city has become a prostitute! She once was full of justice; righteousness used to dwell in her— but now murderers! (niv)

Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”( Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) (niv)

But now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord.‘ Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the Lord,‘ and work. For I am with you,’ declares the Lord Almighty. (niv)

Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. (niv)

Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor. (niv)

and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. (niv)

I will restore your leaders as in days of old, your rulers as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.” (niv)

This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, (niv)
