Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness will never fail.

天上的萬象都要衰亡，天如同書卷要被捲起來；其中的萬象都要凋零，如葡萄樹的葉子凋零，又如無花果樹的葉子凋零。

你在起初奠定了大地的根基，諸天也是你手所造的。天地將要消亡，你卻繼續存留；天地都要像衣服那樣漸漸破舊，你把它們像衣袍那樣更換，它們就消逝了；

天和地將要消逝，但是我的話絕不會消逝。

我又觀看，羔羊打開第六個封印的時候，發生了大地震。太陽變黑像粗毛布，整個月亮變得像血。天上的星辰墜落到地上，就像無花果樹被大風搖動，落下它未熟的果子那樣。天被劈裂，好像書卷被捲起來；一切山嶺和海島也都從原處被挪開了。

他又說：「主啊，你在起初立定了大地的根基，諸天也是你手所造的。天地將要毀滅，你卻繼續存留；天地都要像衣服那樣漸漸破舊。你將要把天地像外衣那樣捲起來，天地也要像衣服那樣被更換；你卻永不改變，你的歲月沒有窮盡。」

不過，主的日子要來臨，就像賊來臨那樣。在那日，諸天要轟然一聲地消逝，天體將被火焚燒而廢除，地和地上的作為也都將被暴露出來。既然這一切都要如此被廢除，那麼，你們應該做什麼樣的人呢？應該行為聖潔、敬畏神，等候並催促神的日子來臨。因為在那日，諸天將被焚燒而廢除，天體要被火焚燒而熔化。

因為蛀蟲必咬噬他們，像咬噬衣服；蠹蟲必咬噬他們，像咬噬羊絨；但我的公義必存到永遠，我的救恩存到萬代。」

好使所有相信他的人，都得到永恆的生命。「神愛世人，甚至賜下他的獨生子，好讓所有信他的人不至於滅亡，反得永恆的生命，

接著，我看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都從他面前逃避，連它們的地方也找不到了。

為此，在萬軍之耶和華烈怒的日子裡，因著我的盛怒，我要使諸天顫抖；大地必從其原處震開。

我的羊聽我的聲音，我也認識他們，他們也跟著我；並且我賜給他們永恆的生命，他們絕不會滅亡，直到永遠。誰也不能把他們從我手中奪走。我父，就是把他們賜給我的那一位，他比一切更大。誰也不能把他們從我父的手中奪走。

你們向高天舉目觀看吧！是誰創造了這些萬象？是按著數目把萬象領出來的那一位！他一一點其名；因他的大能大力，它們一個也不缺失。

我觀看你手指所造的天，並你所安設的月亮星宿，啊，人算什麼，你竟顧念他！世人算什麼，你竟眷顧他！

為此，基督做了新約的中保，藉著死贖清了人在第一個約之下的過犯，好使那些蒙召的人可以得到所應許的永恆繼業。

但以色列必蒙耶和華的拯救——永遠的拯救；你們必不致蒙羞受辱，直到永永遠遠。

「為了你的民，為了你的聖城，有七十個『七』被定下了，為要結束罪過，終止罪惡，贖清罪孽，帶來永遠的公義，封住異象和預言，膏抹至聖所。

看哪！主耶和華幫助我，誰能定我的罪呢？看哪！他們都必像衣服那樣漸漸破舊；蛀蟲必咬噬他們。

他也沒有藉著山羊和牛犢的血，而是藉著他自己的血，一次性地進入聖所，成就了永恆的救贖。

願我們的主耶穌基督自己和神我們的父，就是愛我們又在恩典中把永恆的安慰和美好的盼望賜給我們的那一位，

「我確確實實地告訴你們：誰聽我的話，又相信派我來的那一位，誰就有永恆的生命。他不但不被定罪，而且已經出死入生了。

但是耶和華的慈愛臨到敬畏他的人，從永遠到永遠；他的公義歸於他們的子子孫孫，

他既然得以完全，就為所有順從他的人成了永恆救恩的本源，
