There was no one to lead her among all the children she bore; there was no one to take her by the hand among all the children she raised.

Among all the children she bore there was none to guide her; among all the children she reared there was none to take her by the hand.

Among all the children who were born to you there was none to guide you. Among all the children you brought up there was none to lead you by the hand.

There is none to guide her among all the sons she has borne; there is none to take her by the hand among all the sons she has brought up.

Not one of your children is left alive to take your hand and guide you.

There is no one to guide her among all the children she has raised; there is no one to take hold of her hand among all the offspring she has brought up.

There is no one to guide her among all the sons to whom she has given birth, Nor is there anyone to take her by the hand among all the sons she has raised.

Look to the right and see! No one cares about me. I have nowhere to run; no one is concerned about my life.

Now look, the hand of the Lord is against you, and you will be blind, unable to see the sun for a time!” Immediately mistiness and darkness came over him, and he went around seeking people to lead him by the hand.

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were bewildered and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Leave them! They are blind guides. If someone who is blind leads another who is blind, both will fall into a pit.”

This is what the LORD says to his chosen one, to Cyrus, whose right hand I hold in order to subdue nations before him, and disarm kings, to open doors before him, so gates remain unclosed:

“ Surely, God does not reject a blameless man, nor does he grasp the hand of the evildoers.

He took the blind man by the hand and brought him outside of the village. Then he spit on his eyes, placed his hands on his eyes and asked,“ Do you see anything?”

The LORD says,“ I will make youths their officials; malicious young men will rule over them.The people will treat each other harshly; men will oppose each other; neighbors will fight. Youths will proudly defy the elderly and riffraff will challenge those who were once respected.Indeed, a man will grab his brother right in his father’s house and say,‘ You own a coat– you be our leader! This heap of ruins will be under your control.’At that time the brother will shout,‘ I am no doctor, I have no food or coat in my house; don’t make me a leader of the people!’”Jerusalem certainly stumbles, Judah falls, for their words and their actions offend the LORD; they rebel against his royal authority.

“ It will not be like the covenant that I made with their fathers, on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not continue in my covenant and I had no regard for them, says the Lord.

For I am the LORD your God, the one who takes hold of your right hand, who says to you,‘ Don’t be afraid, I am helping you.’

It will not be like the old covenant that I made with their ancestors when I delivered them from Egypt. For they violated that covenant, even though I was like a faithful husband to them,” says the LORD.

So Saul got up from the ground, but although his eyes were open, he could see nothing. Leading him by the hand, his companions brought him into Damascus.
