For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for he does not give the Spirit sparingly.

When the earth and all its inhabitants dissolve in fear, I make its pillars secure.”( Selah)

I am telling you the things I have seen while with the Father; as for you, practice the things you have heard from the Father!”They answered him,“ Abraham is our father!” Jesus replied,“ If you are Abraham’s children, you would be doing the deeds of Abraham.But now you are trying to kill me, a man who has told you the truth I heard from God. For this is what the LORD says, the one who created the sky– he is the true God, the one who formed the earth and made it; he established it, he did not create it without order, he formed it to be inhabited–“ I am the LORD, I have no peer.

Yes, my hand founded the earth; my right hand spread out the sky. I summon them; they stand together.

to strengthen those who mourn in Zion, by giving them a turban, instead of ashes, oil symbolizing joy, instead of mourning, a garment symbolizing praise, instead of discouragement. They will be called oaks of righteousness, trees planted by the LORD to reveal his splendor.

“ For this is the covenant that I will establish with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and I will inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God and they will be my people.

This is what the LORD says:“ At the time I decide to show my favor, I will respond to you; in the day of deliverance I will help you; I will protect you and make you a covenant mediator for people, to rebuild the land and to reassign the desolate property.

The children of your oppressors will come bowing to you; all who treated you with disrespect will bow down at your feet. They will call you,‘ The City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.’You were once abandoned and despised, with no one passing through, but I will make you a permanent source of pride and joy to coming generations.

When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and will cover you with my hand while I pass by.

The everlasting God is a refuge, and underneath you are his eternal arms; he has driven out enemies before you, and has said,“ Destroy!”

All of your people will be godly; they will possess the land permanently. I will plant them like a shoot; they will be the product of my labor, through whom I reveal my splendor.

And I will bring them to settle within Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and righteousness.’

But, according to his promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness truly resides.

Then I will bring the remaining third into the fire; I will refine them like silver is refined and will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name and I will answer; I will say,‘ These are my people,’ and they will say,‘ The LORD is my God.’”

They will be my people, and I will be their God.

For look, I am ready to create new heavens and a new earth! The former ones will not be remembered; no one will think about them anymore.
