竟忘記了那造你的耶和華，就是展開諸天、奠定大地根基的那一位；竟終日不斷地懼怕，就是懼怕壓迫者預備行毀滅時的怒火！其實那壓迫者的怒火在哪裡呢？

而忘展布諸天、奠定地基、肇造爾之耶和華、終日因強暴者之怒而懼、以其圖滅爾、其怒安在、

我耶和華肇造爾邦、張舒穹蒼、奠定寰宇、爾何為忘予、恆畏強暴之人、恐其烈怒、滅爾邦家、然彼怒雖烈、焉能有為。

乃忘張天奠地造爾之主、強暴之人、預備殺戮之時、爾終日戰慄、畏其烈怒、究之強暴人之烈怒、果安在乎、

that you forget the Lord your Maker, who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor?

How can you forget me? I made you. I stretch out the heavens. I lay the foundations of the earth. Why are you terrified every day? Is it because those who are angry with you are crushing you? Is it because they are trying to destroy you? Their anger can’t harm you anymore.

and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and you fear continually all the day because of the wrath of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the wrath of the oppressor?

Yet you have forgotten the Lord, your Creator, the one who stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. Will you remain in constant dread of human oppressors? Will you continue to fear the anger of your enemies? Where is their fury and anger now? It is gone!

But you have forgotten the LORD, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You are in constant dread all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, who has set himself to destroy. But where is the fury of the oppressor?

Why do you forget the LORD, who made you, who stretched out the sky and founded the earth? Why do you constantly tremble all day long at the anger of the oppressor, when he makes plans to destroy? Where is the anger of the oppressor?

Have you forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Do you live in fear continually all day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepares to destroy? Where is the fury of the oppressor?

It is he that sitteth above the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in;

Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment; Who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain;

For thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength; therefore thou plantest pleasant plants, and settest it with strange slips.

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens; and all their host have I commanded.

Yea, my hand hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spread out the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

Canst thou with him spread out the sky, Which is strong as a molten mirror?

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made, well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that god that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the Wise- men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the male children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had exactly learned of the Wise- men.Then was fulfilled that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet, saying,A voice was heard in Ramah, Weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children; And she would not be comforted, because they are not.But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying,Arise and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead that sought the young child’s life.

Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.

Thus saith God Jehovah, he that created the heavens, and stretched them forth; he that spread abroad the earth and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding hath he stretched out the heavens.

Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, And hast forgotten God that gave thee birth.

Thus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb: I am Jehovah, that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth( who is with me?);

I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.But one passed by, and, lo, he was not: Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

Say ye not, A conspiracy, concerning all whereof this people shall say, A conspiracy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be in dread thereof.Jehovah of hosts, him shall ye sanctify; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed- nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.

And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians were marching after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto Jehovah.And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to bring us forth out of Egypt?Is not this the word that we spake unto thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it were better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of Jehovah, which he will work for you to- day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to- day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: The residue of wrath shalt thou gird upon thee.

and thou shalt be driven from men; and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field; thou shalt be made to eat grass as oxen; and seven times shall pass over thee; until thou know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hair was grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.

They that see thee shall gaze at thee, they shall consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;that made the world as a wilderness, and overthrew the cities thereof; that let not loose his prisoners to their home?

O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?

Thy heart shall muse on the terror: Where is he that counted, where is he that weighed the tribute? where is he that counted the towers?Thou shalt not see the fierce people, a people of a deep speech that thou canst not comprehend, of a strange tongue that thou canst not understand.

That the triumphing of the wicked is short, And the joy of the godless but for a moment?Though his height mount up to the heavens, And his head reach unto the clouds;Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: They that have seen him shall say, Where is he?He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: Yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.The eye which saw him shall see him no more; Neither shall his place any more behold him.

they are gone over the pass; they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah trembleth; Gibeah of Saul is fled.Cry aloud with thy voice, O daughter of Gallim! hearken, O Laishah! O thou poor Anathoth!Madmenah is a fugitive; the inhabitants of Gebim flee for safety.This very day shall he halt at Nob: he shaketh his hand at the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.Behold, the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, will lop the boughs with terror: and the high of stature shall be hewn down, and the lofty shall be brought low.And he will cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.

And the angel of Jehovah went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand; and when men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. And Esar- haddon his son reigned in his stead.

Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, these shall perish from the earth, and from under the heavens.He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding hath he stretched out the heavens.

And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down out of heaven, and devoured them.

Of old didst thou lay the foundation of the earth; And the heavens are the work of thy hands.They shall perish, but thou shalt endure; Yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; As a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

And if indeed they had been mindful of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return.

and say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither let thy heart be faint, because of these two tails of smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: They sank as lead in the mighty waters.

The enemy are come to an end, they are desolate for ever; And the cities which thou hast overthrown, The very remembrance of them is perished.But Jehovah sitteth as king for ever: He hath prepared his throne for judgment;

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought the signs in his sight, wherewith he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshipped his image: they two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burneth with brimstone:

Let mine outcasts dwell with thee; as for Moab, be thou a covert to him from the face of the destroyer. For the extortioner is brought to nought, destruction ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.

And immediately an angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.
