Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.

The Lord and King helps me. He won’t let me be dishonored. So I’ve made up my mind to keep on serving him. I know he won’t let me be put to shame.

But the Lord God helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.

So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me?

With whom my hand shall be established; Mine arm also shall strengthen him.The enemy shall not exact from him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.And I will beat down his adversaries before him, And smite them that hate him.But my faithfulness and my lovingkindness shall be with him; And in my name shall his horn be exalted.I will set his hand also on the sea, And his right hand on the rivers.He shall cry unto me, Thou art my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.I also will make him my first- born, The highest of the kings of the earth.

Thus saith Jehovah, In an acceptable time have I answered thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;

but if a man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this name.

These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

And it came to pass, when the days were well- nigh come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

Forasmuch then as Christ suffered in the flesh, arm ye yourselves also with the same mind; for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

Behold, the Lord Jehovah will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? behold, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
