The Sovereign Lord has given me a well- instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.

The Lord and King has taught me what to say. He has taught me how to help those who are tired. He wakes me up every morning. He makes me want to listen like a good student.

The Jews therefore marveled, saying,“ How does this man know letters, having never been educated?”Jesus therefore answered them,“ My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God, or if I am speaking from myself.

Yahweh said to him,“ Who made man’s mouth? Or who makes one mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Isn’t it I, Yahweh?Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall speak.”

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.

Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth. How good is a word at the right time!

I rise before dawn and cry for help. I put my hope in your words.

All testified about him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth, and they said,“ Isn’t this Joseph’s son?”

Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you.

No one was able to answer him a word, neither did any man dare ask him any more questions from that day forward.

“ Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

I hid myself and was angry; and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near,” says Yahweh;“ and I will heal them.”

Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.

You are the most excellent of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, therefore God has blessed you forever.

The officers answered,“ No man ever spoke like this man!”
