Does anyone among you have respect for the Lord? Does anyone obey the message of the Lord’ s servant? Let the person who walks in the dark trust in the Lord. Let the one who doesn’t have any light to guide them depend on their God.

爾中誰畏耶和華、而聽其僕之聲乎、行於幽暗、不得光明者、宜恃耶和華名、賴其上帝、

爾中誰畏耶和華、而聽其臣之命者、若行暗地、不得光明、必以上帝耶和華是恃。

Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant? Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on their God.

Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the voice of his servant? Let him who walks in darkness and has no light trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.

Who among you fears the Lord and obeys his servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the Lord and rely on your God.

Who among you fears the LORD and listens to his servant? Who among you walks in darkness, and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD; let him lean on his God.

Who is among you who fears the Lord, Who obeys the voice of His servant, Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.

Who is among you that feareth Jehovah, that obeyeth the voice of his servant? he that walketh in darkness, and hath no light, let him trust in the name of Jehovah, and rely upon his God.

Who among you fears the Lord, listening to the voice of His Servant? Who among you walks in darkness, and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Yahweh; let him lean on his God.

Who[ is] among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh[ in] darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys his servant? Whoever walks in deep darkness, without light, should trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God.

Who among you fears Yahweh and obeys the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness and has no light, let him trust in Yahweh’s name, and rely on his God.

I have come into the world to be its light. So no one who believes in me will stay in darkness.

Turn all your worries over to him. He cares about you.

The people who are now living in darkness will see a great light. They are now living in a very dark land. But a light will shine on them.

The Lord shares his plans with those who have respect for him. He makes his covenant known to them.

But I will look to the Lord. I’ll put my trust in God my Savior. He will hear me.The people of Jerusalem say,“ Don’t laugh when we suffer, you enemies of ours! We have fallen. But we’ll get up. Even though we sit in the dark, the Lord will give us light.We’ve sinned against the Lord. So he is angry with us. His anger will continue until he takes up our case. Then he’ll do what is right for us. He’ll bring us out into the light. Then we’ll see him save us.

In this way he was made perfect. Eternal salvation comes from him. He saves all those who obey him.

The Lord gives me strength. He is like a shield that keeps me safe. My heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart jumps for joy. With my song I praise him.

“ But if I go to the east, God isn’t there. If I go to the west, I don’t find him.When he’s working in the north, I don’t see him there. When he turns to the south, I don’t see him there either.But he knows every step I take. When he has tested me, I’ll come out as pure as gold.

Who are the people who have respect for the Lord? God will teach them the ways they should choose.

The light of his lamp shone on me. I walked through darkness by his light.

Lord, you will give perfect peace to those who commit themselves to be faithful to you. That’s because they trust in you.“ Trust in the Lord forever. The Lord himself is the Rock. The Lord will keep us safe forever.

The Lord and King has taught me what to say. He has taught me how to help those who are tired. He wakes me up every morning. He makes me want to listen like a good student.

Brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the hard times we had in Asia Minor. We were having a lot of trouble. It was far more than we could stand. We even thought we were going to die.In fact, we felt as if we were under the sentence of death. But that happened so that we would not depend on ourselves but on God. He raises the dead to life.God has saved us from deadly dangers. And he will continue to do it. We have put our hope in him. He will continue to save us.

My spirit, why are you so sad? Why are you so upset deep down inside me? Put your hope in God. Once again I will have reason to praise him. He is my Savior and my God.

The Lord is good to those who put their hope in him. He is good to those who look to him.It is good when people wait quietly for the Lord to save them.

Trust in him at all times, you people. Tell him all your troubles. God is our place of safety.

Everything has now been heard. And here’s the final thing I want to say. Have respect for God and obey his commandments. This is what he expects of all human beings.

Blessed are all those who have respect for the Lord. They live as he wants them to live.

Here is something I am still sure of. I will see the Lord’ s goodness while I’m still alive.Wait for the Lord. Be strong and don’t lose hope. Wait for the Lord.

Early in the morning all the people left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they started out, Jehoshaphat stood up. He said,“ Judah, listen to me! People of Jerusalem, listen to me! Have faith in the Lord your God. He’ll take good care of you. Have faith in his prophets. Then you will have success.”

If you really want to become wise, you must begin by having respect for the Lord. All those who follow his rules have good understanding. People should praise him forever.Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who have respect for the Lord. They find great delight when they obey God’s commands.

Jesus spoke to the people again. He said,“ I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in darkness. They will have that light. They will have life.”

I will praise the Lord with my mouth. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever.

Those who had respect for the Lord talked with one another. And the Lord heard them. A list of people and what they did was written in a book in front of him. It included the names of those who respected the Lord and honored him.

I was patient while I waited for the Lord. He turned to me and heard my cry for help.I was sliding down into the pit of death, and he pulled me out. He brought me up out of the mud and dirt. He set my feet on a rock. He gave me a firm place to stand on.He gave me a new song to sing. It is a hymn of praise to our God. Many people will see and have respect for the Lord. They will put their trust in him.Blessed is the person who trusts in the Lord. They don’t trust in proud people. Those proud people worship statues of gods.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid. You are with me. Your shepherd’s rod and staff comfort me.

After he has suffered, he will see the light of life. And he will be satisfied. My godly servant will make many people godly because of what he will accomplish. He will be punished for their sins.

He made my words like a sharp sword. He hid me in the palm of his hand. He made me into a sharpened arrow. He took good care of me and kept me safe.He said to me,“ You are my true servant Israel. I will show my glory through you.”

David was greatly troubled. His men were even talking about killing him by throwing stones at him. All of them were very bitter because their sons and daughters had been taken away. But David was made strong by the Lord his God.

“ Here is my servant. I take good care of him. I have chosen him. I am very pleased with him. I will put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.

Even if God kills me, I’ll still put my hope in him. I’ll argue my case in front of him.

God helped his people fight against the Hagrites and all who were helping them. He handed over all those enemies to his people. That’s because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.

Our God, won’t you please judge them? We don’t have the power to face this huge army that’s attacking us. We don’t know what to do. But we’re looking to you to help us.”

We aren’t being treated fairly. We haven’t been set free yet. The God who always does what is right hasn’t come to help us. We look for light, but we see nothing but darkness. We look for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows.

He has driven me away. He has made me walk in darkness instead of light.
