Woe to you who add house to house and join field to field till no space is left and you live alone in the land.

How terrible it will be for you who get too many houses! How terrible for you who get too many fields! Finally there won’t be any space left in the land. Then you will live all alone.

Woe to those who join house to house, who add field to field, until there is no more room, and you are made to dwell alone in the midst of the land.

What sorrow for you who buy up house after house and field after field, until everyone is evicted and you live alone in the land.

彼貪人田廬、而強據之、人與第宅、及凡所有、俱遭暴虐、

爾貪不義之利、以富其家、營巢甚高、求免災害、禍必不遠、爾謀不軌、殲滅眾民、自取罪戾、貽羞家庭、壁中之石將呼、屋巔之梁將應、以訟爾罪、爾殺戮人、強奪人、以構城邑、禍必不遠、

人以非義之利、建造宅第、用人之力、不償其工者、禍必不遠、彼曰、廣廈崇室、余必搆造、啟其窗牗、以柏香木為板、塗以丹艧。耶和華曰、爾雖以柏香木為板、以示華美、豈得恆居王位。爾父日用飲食、躬行仁義、而享福祉、彼為貧乏伸冤、既識我道、遂得亨通、

亞哈聞言、往耶斯烈、入拿泊園、據而得之。耶和華命的庇人以利亞曰、都於撒馬利亞、以色列王亞哈、今詣拿泊之園、據有其地。爾可前往以迓。告之曰、耶和華云、汝豈非殺人而據其業乎。又云、犬舐拿泊之血於其處、亦必舐爾之血。亞哈曰、爾為我敵、今乃與我相遇乎。曰、我遇爾者、因爾在耶和華前、惟惡是務。

遂設譬曰、有富人、土地蕃殖、慮曰、我有物產、無處可儲、將若何、又曰、必毀我倉、建其大者、以儲百穀貨物、如此其可也、乃自謂曰、我有多物、積為歷年之用、此心可安然飲食喜樂也、上帝曰、無知者乎、今夜將索爾魂、則所備者誰歸、凡積財於己、而上帝前不富有者、亦如是、○耶穌謂門徒曰、吾語汝、勿慮生何以食、身何以衣、生貴於糧、身貴於衣也、試思鴉鳥、不稼不穡、無倉無廩、而上帝養之、爾之於鳥、其貴何如耶、

人子、耶路撒冷居民告爾同儕同族、以色列族全家、云、耶和華駐蹕之所、爾曹離逖之、惟我得斯土而居焉。

人子、以色列地荒墟、居民常言亞伯拉罕一人、能得斯土、我儕既眾、豈不能據而有之、

偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、以爾當人前閉天國、爾自不進、而將進者、爾不許、
