禍哉、爾曹增室於室、增田於田、以致不遺隙地、爾欲獨居斯地乎、

Woe to you who add house to house and join field to field till no space is left and you live alone in the land.

How terrible it will be for you who get too many houses! How terrible for you who get too many fields! Finally there won’t be any space left in the land. Then you will live all alone.

Woe to those who join house to house, who add field to field, until there is no more room, and you are made to dwell alone in the midst of the land.

What sorrow for you who buy up house after house and field after field, until everyone is evicted and you live alone in the land.

亞哈聞拿伯死、乃起、欲往耶斯列人拿伯之園、據而有之、○耶和華諭提斯比人以利亞曰、居撒瑪利亞之以色列王亞哈、今在拿伯之園、欲據而有之、爾起往迓、告之曰、耶和華云、汝既殺人、又據其業乎、又告之曰、耶和華云、犬於何處舐拿伯之血、亦必於彼舐爾之血、亞哈謂以利亞曰、我敵、爾遇我乎、曰、我遇爾矣、因爾自鬻、行耶和華所惡、

又設喻曰、有一富人、土地蕃殖、自忖曰、無處儲我物產、將何為乎、既而曰、我知所為矣、必毀我倉、而建其大者、以儲百穀財物、我將謂我靈曰、靈乎、爾多財貨積為歷年之用、可安然飲食喜樂也、惟上帝謂之曰、無知者乎、今夜將索爾靈、則所備者誰歸、凡積財於己、而於上帝前不富者亦如是、○耶穌謂其徒曰、故我語汝、毋慮爾生何以食、身何以衣、蓋生貴於糧、身貴於衣也、試思烏鴉、不稼不穡、無倉無廩、而上帝且育之、爾之於鳥、其貴何如耶、

人子歟、耶路撒冷居民、謂爾昆弟戚族、暨以色列全家云、爾曹遠離耶和華、斯土歸我為業、

人子歟、居於以色列地、荒蕪之處者曰、亞伯拉罕僅一人耳、而得斯土、我儕既眾、必得斯土為業、

禍哉、爾偽善之士子、與法利賽人乎、
