爾播種於地、主必降雨、賜爾田產之糧、既阜且豐、是日爾之羣畜、必牧於廣苑、

覆爾之天如銅、載爾之地如鐵、耶和華必以塵沙為雨、自天降於爾土、俾爾滅亡、

城中荒涼、邑門破壞、

異邦虛無之物、有能降雨者乎、天能自施甘霖乎、我之上帝耶和華歟、行此者非爾乎、故我仰望爾、蓋此諸事、皆爾所為也、

後若離棄、則不能使之更新而改悔、因其復釘上帝子於十架而顯辱之、蓋地既霑屢降之雨、而生百蔬、適耕者之用、則受祝於上帝、若生棘茨則見棄、而近於詛、終見爇矣、○

我曰、主歟、將至何時、曰、迨諸邑荒涼、無有居者、室廬闃寂、田畝荒蕪、耶和華遠徙其民、斯土遂極蕭條、

我民之田、歡娛之邑、喜樂之第、徧生荊棘蒺藜、宮闕荒涼、邑眾離散、山莊戍樓、永為窟穴、野驢悅其地、羣畜牧其間、

以色列人必歷多日、無王無君、無祭祀、無柱像、無聖衣、無家神、

旅於基列之提斯比人以利亞、告亞哈曰、我指所事維生之耶和華、以色列之上帝而誓、此數年間、非我有言、則雨露不降、

又見硫磺與鹽、火焚遍地、不種不產、不生草萊、如所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁、為耶和華忿怒所傾覆者、

彼將仆於鋒刃、擄於諸國、耶路撒冷為異邦蹂躪、迨異邦之期滿焉、

凡曾攻耶路撒冷者、列邦所餘之民、每歲必上、崇拜其王萬軍之耶和華、守構廬節、地上萬族、不上耶路撒冷、崇拜其王萬軍之耶和華者、雨不降之、

耶和華論旱乾、所諭耶利米之言、○

穫前三月、我禁厥雨、惟雨此邑、不雨彼邑、一田得雨、他田無雨、則枯槁焉、

彼有權閉天、使於其預言之日不雨、亦有權治諸水、變之為血、且隨其所欲、以各災擊地、

我必散爾於異邦、襲爾以白刃、荒涼爾土、闃寂爾邑、爾既寓於敵國、斯土荒寂、其壤則閒、而享安息、地既荒寂、必享安息、爾居斯土、其壤所未獲之安息、此時必得享之、

萬軍之耶和華附我耳曰、誠哉、許多第宅、將為荒蕪、雖廣且美、無人居之、葡萄園三十畝、將產酒一罷特、穀種一賀梅爾、僅產穀一伊法、
