因此，火舌怎样吞噬麦秸，干草怎样倒在火焰中，照样，他们的根也必像腐朽之物，他们的花必像尘土飞散；因为他们厌弃万军之耶和华的训诲，藐视以色列圣者的言语。

故若禾稿焚於火、枯草銷於焰、其根將朽、其花飛揚若塵、因其廢棄萬軍耶和華之律、藐視以色列聖者之言、

耶和華萬有之真宰、以色列族之聖主、定律例、立法度、彼蔑棄之、藐視之、故必敗亡、若火之燬稈、若燄之燃蒭、本實必撥、花蕊必謝、

故其根必若朽物、其花飛散如塵、勢如火焰焚稈、烈焰燬芻、因彼違棄萬有之主之法、藐視以色列聖主之言、

Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Flames of fire burn up straw. Dry grass sinks down into those flames. Evil people will be like plants whose roots rot away. They will be like flowers that are blown away like dust. That’s because they have said no to the law of the Lord who rules over all. They have turned against the message of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore, as the tongue of fire devours the stubble, and as dry grass sinks down in the flame, so their root will be as rottenness, and their blossom go up like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts, and have despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore, just as fire licks up stubble and dry grass shrivels in the flame, so their roots will rot and their flowers wither. For they have rejected the law of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies; they have despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore, as a tongue of fire consumes straw and as dry grass shrivels in the flame, so their roots will become like something rotten and their blossoms will blow away like dust, for they have rejected the instruction of the LORD of Armies, and they have despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore, as a tongue of fire consumes stubble, And dry grass collapses in the flame, So their root will become like rot, and their blossom blow away like dust; For they have rejected the Law of the Lord of armies, And discarded the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, And the flame consumes the chaff, So their root will be as rottenness, And their blossom will ascend like dust; Because they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts, And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore as the tongue of fire devoureth the stubble, and as the dry grass sinketh down in the flame, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust; because they have rejected the law of Jehovah of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore, as a tongue of fire consumes straw and as dry grass shrivels in the flame, so their roots will become like something rotten and their blossoms will blow away like dust, for they have rejected the instruction of the Lord of Hosts, and they have despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff,[ so] their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore, as flaming fire devours straw, and dry grass disintegrates in the flames, so their root will rot, and their flower will blow away like dust. For they have rejected the law of the LORD who commands armies, they have spurned the commands of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore as the tongue of fire devours the stubble, and as the dry grass sinks down in the flame, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust, because they have rejected the law of Yahweh of Armies, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

下边，他的根要枯干；上边，他的枝子要剪除。

所以，以色列的圣者如此说：“因你们藐视这话，倚赖欺压和诡诈，以此为可靠，

响声如战车在山顶上跳动，如火焰吞噬碎秸，好像强大的军队摆阵备战。

看哪，他们要像碎秸被火焚烧，无法救自己脱离火焰的魔掌；没有炭火可以取暖，你也不能坐在火旁。

你大发威严，摧毁了你的敌人；你发出烈怒，吞灭他们如同碎秸。

因为他们是悖逆的百姓、说谎的儿女，是不肯听从耶和华训诲的儿女。

他手里拿着簸箕，要扬净他的谷物，把麦子收在仓里，把糠用不灭的火烧尽。”

撒母耳对扫罗说：“我不同你回去，因为你厌弃耶和华的命令，耶和华也厌弃你作以色列的王。”

所以，那弃绝这教导的不是弃绝人，而是弃绝那把自己的圣灵赐给你们的神。

耶稣又对门徒说：“听从你们的就是听从我；弃绝你们的就是弃绝我；弃绝我的就是弃绝差遣我来的那位。”

悖逆与占卜的罪相等，顽梗与拜偶像的罪孽相同。因为你厌弃耶和华的命令，耶和华也厌弃你作王。”

“我从他们面前除灭亚摩利人；他虽高大如香柏树，强壮如橡树，我却上灭其果，下绝其根。

耶和华在一日之间从以色列中剪除了头与尾—棕树枝与芦苇—长老和显要就是头，以谎言教人的先知就是尾。因为引导这百姓的使他们走入迷途，被引导的都必被吞灭。所以，主不喜爱他们的青年，也不怜悯他们的孤儿和寡妇；因为他们都是亵渎的，行恶的，并且各人的口都说愚妄的话。虽然如此，耶和华的怒气并未转消；他的手依然伸出。

若有人用金银、宝石，草木、禾秸，在这根基上建造，各人的工程必将显露，因为那日子要将它显明，有火把它暴露出来，这火要试炼各人的工程怎样。

他手里拿着簸箕，要扬净他的谷物，把麦子收在仓里，把糠用不灭的火烧尽。”

“‘然而，他们不顺从，竟背叛你，将你的律法丢在背后，又杀害那些劝他们回转归向你的众先知，犯了亵渎的大罪。

地啊，当听！看哪，我必使灾祸临到这百姓，是他们计谋所结的果子；因为他们不肯留心听我的话，至于我的律法，他们也厌弃。

你们像杂乱的荆棘，像喝醉了的人，又如枯干的碎秸，全然烧灭。

其实你恨恶管教，将我的言语抛在脑后。

他们却不听从，竟硬着颈项，像他们祖先一样，不信服耶和华—他们的神。他们厌弃他的律例，和他与他们列祖所立的约，以及他劝戒他们的话，去随从虚无的神明，自己成为虚妄，效法周围的列国，就是耶和华嘱咐他们不可效法的。

智慧人惭愧，惊惶，被擒拿；看哪，他们背弃耶和华的话，还会有什么智慧呢？

但法利赛人和律法师没有受过约翰的洗，竟废弃了神为他们所定的旨意。

万军之耶和华说：“看哪，那日临近，势如烧着的火炉，凡狂傲的和行恶的都如碎秸，在那日被烧尽，根与枝条无一存留。

我对以法莲竟如蛀虫，向犹大家竟如朽烂。

弃绝我、不领受我话的人自有审判他的；我所讲的道在末日要审判他。

“这百姓既厌弃西罗亚缓流的水，喜欢利汛以及利玛利的儿子，

任何人干犯摩西的律法，凭两个或三个证人，尚且必须处死，不得宽赦，更何况践踏神儿子的人，他们将那使他成圣之约的血当作不洁净，又亵慢施恩的圣灵的人，你们想，他不该受更严厉的惩罚吗？

你为什么藐视耶和华的命令，做他眼中看为恶的事呢？你用刀击杀赫人乌利亚，又娶了他的妻子为妻，借亚扪人的刀杀死他。现在刀剑必永不离开你的家，因你藐视我，娶了赫人乌利亚的妻子为妻。’

‘要观看，你们这些藐视的人，要惊讶，要灭亡，因为在你们的日子，我行一件事，虽有人告诉你们，你们总是不信。’”

以法莲受击打，其根枯干，不能结果，即或生产，我也要杀他们所生的爱子。
