定惡人為義的，定義人為惡的，這都為耶和華所憎惡。

你該知道，末世必有危險的日子來到。因為那時，人要專顧自己，貪愛錢財，自誇，狂傲，謗讟，違背父母，忘恩負義，心不聖潔，無親情，不解怨，好說讒言，不能自約，性情凶暴，不愛良善，賣主賣友，任意妄為，自高自大，愛宴樂，不愛神，有敬虔的外貌，卻背了敬虔的實意；這等人你要躲開。

耶穌對他們說：「你們是在人面前自稱為義的，你們的心，神卻知道；因為人所尊貴的，是神看為可憎惡的。

你們用言語煩瑣耶和華，你們還說：「我們在何事上煩瑣他呢？」因為你們說：「凡行惡的，耶和華眼看為善，並且他喜悅他們」；或說：「公義的神在哪裏呢？」

「眼睛就是身上的燈。你的眼睛若瞭亮，全身就光明；你的眼睛若昏花，全身就黑暗。你裏頭的光若黑暗了，那黑暗是何等大呢！」

你眼睛就是身上的燈。你的眼睛若瞭亮，全身就光明；眼睛若昏花，全身就黑暗。所以，你要省察，恐怕你裏頭的光或者黑暗了。

他們以黑夜為白晝，說：亮光近乎黑暗。

你們這使公平變為茵蔯、將公義丟棄於地的，

從前在百姓中有假先知起來，將來在你們中間也必有假師傅，私自引進陷害人的異端，連買他們的主他們也不承認，自取速速地滅亡。

他們說虛妄矜誇的大話，用肉身的情慾和邪淫的事引誘那些剛才脫離妄行的人。他們應許人得以自由，自己卻作敗壞的奴僕，因為人被誰制伏就是誰的奴僕。

耶穌回答說：「你們為甚麼因着你們的遺傳犯神的誡命呢？神說：『當孝敬父母』；又說：『咒罵父母的，必治死他。』你們倒說：『無論何人對父母說：我所當奉給你的已經作了供獻，他就可以不孝敬父母。』這就是你們藉着遺傳，廢了神的誡命。

「你們這瞎眼領路的有禍了！你們說：『凡指着殿起誓的，這算不得甚麼；只是凡指着殿中金子起誓的，他就該謹守。』你們這無知瞎眼的人哪，甚麼是大的？是金子呢？還是叫金子成聖的殿呢？你們又說：『凡指着壇起誓的，這算不得甚麼；只是凡指着壇上禮物起誓的，他就該謹守。』你們這瞎眼的人哪，甚麼是大的？是禮物呢？還是叫禮物成聖的壇呢？所以，人指着壇起誓，就是指着壇和壇上一切所有的起誓；人指着殿起誓，就是指着殿和那住在殿裏的起誓；人指着天起誓，就是指着神的寶座和那坐在上面的起誓。「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們將薄荷、茴香、芹菜獻上十分之一，那律法上更重的事，就是公義、憐憫、信實，反倒不行了。這更重的是你們當行的；那也是不可不行的。

如今我們稱狂傲的人為有福，並且行惡的人得建立；他們雖然試探神，卻得脫離災難。』」
