宣判恶人为义，裁定义人有罪，二者都是耶和华所厌恶的。

你应当知道，末后的日子必有艰难的时期来到。那时，人会专爱自己、贪爱钱财、自夸、高傲、亵渎、悖逆父母、忘恩负义、不圣洁、没有亲情、不肯和解、恶言中伤、不能自律、横蛮凶暴、不爱良善、卖主卖友、容易冲动、傲慢自大、爱享乐过于爱神，有敬虔的形式，却否定敬虔的能力；这些人你应当避开。

耶稣对他们说：“你们在人面前自称为义，神却知道你们的心；因为人所高举的，神却看作是可憎恶的。

你们用自己的言语使耶和华厌烦，你们还说：“我们怎样使他厌烦呢？”因为你们说：“作恶的，耶和华都看为善，并且喜悦他们。”或说：“公义的神在哪里呢？”

“眼睛就是身体的灯。如果你的眼睛健全，全身就都明亮；如果你的眼睛有毛病，全身就都黑暗。如果你里面的光变成黑暗，这是多么的黑暗！

你的眼睛就是你身体的灯，你的眼睛健全，全身就明亮；如果不健全，全身就黑暗。所以要谨慎，免得你里面的光黑暗了。

他们把黑夜变为白昼，因为黑暗的缘故，他们就说：‘光明临近了。’

他们使公正变为苦堇，把公义弃于地上。

从前在人民中，曾有假先知出来；照样，将来在你们中间，也必有假教师出现。他们偷偷把使人灭亡的异端引进来，甚至否认那曾经买赎他们的主，迅速地自取灭亡。

因为他们说虚妄夸大的话，用肉体的私欲和邪荡的事，引诱那些刚刚逃脱了错谬生活的人。他们应许给人自由，自己却作了败坏的奴仆；因为人给谁制伏了，就作谁的奴仆。

耶稣回答：“你们又为什么因你们的传统，违背神的诫命呢？神说：‘当孝敬父母’，又说：‘咒骂父母的必被处死’。你们却说：‘人若对父母说：“我应该给你们的，已经作了献给神的礼物”，他就可以不孝敬父母了。’你们因为你们的传统，就废弃了神的话。

“你们这些瞎眼的向导有祸了！你们说：‘凡指着圣所而起的誓，是没有用的；但指着圣所的金子而起的誓，就必须遵守。’你们这些瞎眼的愚昧人哪，到底是金子大，还是使金子成圣的圣所大呢？你们又说：‘凡指着祭坛所起的誓，是没有用的；但指着坛上的祭物所起的誓，就必须遵守。’瞎眼的人哪！到底是祭物大，还是使祭物成圣的祭坛大呢？所以，凡指着祭坛起誓的，他就是指着祭坛和坛上的一切起誓；指着圣所起誓的，就是指着圣所和住在那里的神起誓；指着天起誓的，就是指着神的宝座和坐在宝座上的起誓。“虚伪的经学家和法利赛人哪，你们有祸了！你们把薄荷、茴香、芹菜，献上十分之一，却忽略律法上更重要的，就如正义、怜悯和信实；这些更重要的是你们应当作的，但其他的也不可忽略。

现在我们称骄傲的人为有福，作恶的人得建立；他们虽然试探神，却得以逃脱。’”
