昔彼背主、不從厥道、

惟爾欣喜歡忭、宰牛殺羊、食肉飲酒、曰、寧圖飲食、明日死至矣。

何為竊遁、曷不告我、俾我鼓琴、播鼗謳歌、忻然送汝。

爾曹相愛、肆筵設席、彼必與焉、是謀哺啜、玷爾潔清、終無所懼、彼偽師如密雲不雨、為風飄搖、如秋末之樹、果落莖枯、根株盡拔、

嬰孩成群、子女舞蹈、播鼗鼓琴、蕭管悅耳、其在世也、為樂靡涯、其逝世也、患疾不久、其平日對上帝曰、我不悅爾道、勿親我、

彼不崇我耶和華、過飽則臟腑傷、過淫則生育寡、淫行酒醴、喪人心術、

彼曰、願以色列族之聖主、速行其旨、俾我見而知之焉、

惟驕其志、逆天之主、命取厥殿之器、王公后妃、用之飲酒、譽揚金銀銅鐵木石所造之上帝、彼不見不聞、不識不知、至於賜爾呼吸、整爾步履之上帝、爾反不頌美之、

伯沙撒王、肆筵設席、召有爵位者千人、咸赴王讌、與眾同飲、進酒時、命取金銀器皿、乃王之祖尼布甲尼撒得之於耶路撒冷上帝殿者、遂取之至、王公后妃以之飲酒、

寢於象牙之榻、卧於棲息之床、羔則取之於群、犢則執之於牢、供其饜飫、彈琴作歌、製樂器、一如大闢、以最巨之盂、盛酒醴、以至貴之油、膏肌膚、於約瑟之難、毫不矜憫、其禍必不遠矣。

爾所為甚大、所思深奧兮、愚蠢之人、不知斯理、不明斯道兮、

有富人衣紫袍細布、日事華靡宴樂、
