“ Though you were ruined and made desolate and your land laid waste, now you will be too small for your people, and those who devoured you will be far away.

越至於後、以色列族其數必如海沙、不能斗量籌算也、今我語人曰、爾非我民、異日將稱為永生上帝眾子、猶大族與以色列族、將合一處、簡立一長、自異邦而歸、耶斯烈受祐之日、稱其日為大日。

上帝兮、人欲噬子、日加虐遇、求施矜憫兮、予敵眾多、厥心傲辟、日尋干戈、肆其橫噬兮、

耶和華曰、猛士虜人可以脫、強者獲俘可以救、敵爾者我必敵之、拯爾赤子、使兇暴者自食其肉、自飲其血、若醉以醇酒、我耶和華為雅各家全能之救主、天下無不知焉。

我耶和華將撫綏郇邑、今雖荒蕪若曠野、後復振興、與我園囿埃田相埒、使其人欣然歡忭、載咏詩篇、發聲頌讚。

耶和華又曰雅各幕見虜、余將返之、矜憫其宅、城邑雖成瓦礫、必復建造、宮闕雖已荒圮、必復其初、揄揚懽忭之聲、由是而起、我使之繁衍、不復減損、顯其尊榮、不復衰微。

爾當以我言告之云、主耶和華曰、敵縱橫噬、使山荒寂、為他邦之人所得、虛誕之徒、播其流言、

當斯時也、異邦之人、將歸誠於我耶和華者、不可勝數、為我選民、我必駐蹕爾中、使知萬有之主耶和華遣我、

彼猶生存、害之至死、如塚中尸僵、弗能動也。

耶和華又曰、納爾之時、我聽爾、救爾之日我祐爾、倍加保護、俾與我民立約、復興斯邦、使荒蕪之區、為民樂土、

爾之赤子、必速歸爾、爾之外侮、必遠離爾、

厥後噬爾者將見嚙、敵爾者將被虜、劫爾者將被盜、攘爾者將見奪。

我在巴比倫必罰彼勒、所吞者使哇而出之、列邦不復歸巴比倫、其城垣傾覆、我使之然。

告之曰、疾趨以前、告此少者、曰、耶路撒冷居民、牲畜繁多、必恢廓其城、至於邑郊。

不治不修、變為荒蕪、荊棘叢生、使天不雨。

耶和華曰、爾曹常言猶大諸邑、耶路撒冷逵衢、變為荒蕪、居民野獸、不能安處惟我耶和華曰、在斯土將復聞懽忭之聲、新娶者與新婦之音、必有人言、萬有之主耶和華當頌美之、蓋耶和華無不善、矜憫恆懷、斯民也、頌美弗輟、而獻祭品、入於我殿、蓋我必返其俘囚、使納綏祉、與昔無異。

萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、巴比倫人若穀場、其期已屆、必遭蹂躪、不日穡時至焉。

我必眷顧爾、俾得耕耘。在斯山岡、我必使以色列全家、生齒繁衍、不可勝數、諸邑雖遭傾圮、必復建造、我必使人民眾多、牲畜孳息、居於斯山、民既旋歸故土、較之於昔、待之愈厚、使知我乃耶和華。我必使我民以色列族、遨遊斯山、得為恆業、今也、人蹤罕至、後則不然、主耶和華曰、人常言人居斯土、必受其害、人蹤罕至、故我耶和華曰、人居斯土、必不受害、昔則人蹤罕至、今也不然、異邦之人、不復譏刺、斯土不復見辱、人蹤不復罕至、我耶和華已言之矣。
