Lift up your eyes and look around; all your children gather and come to you. As surely as I live,” declares the Lord,“ you will wear them all as ornaments; you will put them on, like a bride.

Look up. Look all around you. All your people are getting together to come back to you. You can be sure that I live,” announces the Lord.“ And you can be just as sure that your people will be like decorations you will wear. Like a bride, you will wear them proudly.

“ For this is like the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah will no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.

“ For a small moment I have forsaken you, but I will gather you with great mercies.

Behold, these shall come from afar, and behold, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.”

For Yahweh says,“ Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream; and you will nurse. You will be carried on her side, and will be dandled on her knees.As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. You will be comforted in Jerusalem.”

I will greatly rejoice in Yahweh! My soul will be joyful in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation. He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. I will bring your offspring from the east, and gather you from the west.I will tell the north,‘ Give them up!’ and tell the south,‘ Don’t hold them back! Bring my sons from far away, and my daughters from the ends of the earth—

Yahweh said to Abram, after Lot was separated from him,“ Now, lift up your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward,

Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the uttermost parts of the earth, along with the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her who travails with child together. They will return as a great company.

“ Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me for days without number.

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he could swear by no one greater, he swore by himself,saying,“ Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.For men indeed swear by a greater one, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath,that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and those who do iniquity,and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

I have sworn by myself. The word has gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and will not be revoked, that to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise.

I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.

“ Lift up your eyes all around, and see: they all gather themselves together. They come to you. Your sons will come from far away, and your daughters will be carried in arms.Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart will thrill and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you. They will bring gold and frankincense, and will proclaim the praises of Yahweh.All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered together to you. The rams of Nebaioth will serve you. They will be accepted as offerings on my altar; and I will beautify my glorious house.“ Who are these who fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?Surely the islands will wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.“ Foreigners will build up your walls, and their kings will serve you: for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you.Your gates also shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, and their kings led captive.

They shall bring all your brothers out of all the nations for an offering to Yahweh, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules, and on camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says Yahweh, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into Yahweh’s house.

The Lord Yahweh says,“ Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and lift up my banner to the peoples. They shall bring your sons in their bosom, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.

Children’s children are the crown of old men; the glory of children are their parents.

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion. Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.
