爾既聞之、今悉見之、尚不宣示乎、自今而後、我以新事示爾、即爾所未知之秘奧、

爾始耳聞、今能目睹、何不以此明示於眾、今而後未來之事、素稱秘奧、爾所未知者、我以之啟迪爾、

昔爾所聞、今皆目睹、爾不當宣示於眾乎、爾不當宣示於眾乎或作爾不當認為真乎自今而後、我示爾新事、與爾所未知隱秘之事、

You have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not admit them?“ From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you.

You have heard me tell you these things. Think about all of them. Won’t you admit they have taken place?“ From now on I will tell you about new things that will happen. I have not made them known to you before.

You have heard my predictions and seen them fulfilled, but you refuse to admit it. Now I will tell you new things, secrets you have not yet heard.

You have heard it. Observe it all. Will you not acknowledge it? From now on I will announce new things to you, hidden things that you have not known.

You have heard; look at all this. And you, will you not declare it? I proclaim to you new things from this time, Hidden things which you have not known.

“ You have heard; See all this. And will you not declare it? I have made you hear new things from this time, Even hidden things, and you did not know them.

Thou hast heard it; behold all this; and ye, will ye not declare it? I have showed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, which thou hast not known.

You have heard it. Observe it all. Will you not acknowledge it? From now on I will announce new things to you, hidden things that you have not known.

Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare[ it]? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.

You have heard; now look at all the evidence! Will you not admit that what I say is true? From this point on I am announcing to you new events that are previously unrevealed and you do not know about.

You have heard it. Now see all this. And you, won’t you declare it?“ I have shown you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known.

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

Bring out the people who are blind, yet have eyes, who are deaf, yet have ears!All the nations gather together, and the peoples assemble. Who among them can declare this, and show us the former things? Let them bring their witnesses to prove them right, and let them hear and say, It is true.“ You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,“ and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.

But, as it is written,“ What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—

I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said,“ O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?”He said,“ Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days.But go your way till the end. And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.”

O my threshed and winnowed one, what I have heard from the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, I announce to you.

Then I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice,“ Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?”

And you, O generation, behold the word of the Lord. Have I been a wilderness to Israel, or a land of thick darkness? Why then do my people say,‘ We are free, we will come no more to you’?

My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is past my knowledge.With the mighty deeds of the Lord God I will come; I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone.O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.

Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this.

Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the Lord.

Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder,“ Come!”And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say,“ Come!”And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say,“ Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand.And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying,“ A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say,“ Come!”And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.They cried out with a loud voice,“ O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood,and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale.The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains,calling to the mountains and rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long agesbut has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—

After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said,“ Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

“ Declare among the nations and proclaim, set up a banner and proclaim, conceal it not, and say:‘ Babylon is taken, Bel is put to shame, Merodach is dismayed. Her images are put to shame, her idols are dismayed.’

With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth.

Is a trumpet blown in a city, and the people are not afraid? Does disaster come to a city, unless the Lord has done it?

The voice of the Lord cries to the city— and it is sound wisdom to fear your name:“ Hear of the rod and of him who appointed it!

What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops.

One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O Lord.I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.

things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us.We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children,that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children,

Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired carefully,inquiring what person or time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories.It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look.
