for they call themselves citizens of the holy city, and rely on the God of Israel; Yahweh of Armies is his name.

you who call yourselves citizens of the holy city and claim to rely on the God of Israel— the Lord Almighty is his name:

You call yourselves citizens of the holy city of Jerusalem. You say you depend on Israel’s God. His name is the Lord Who Rules Over All. He says,

For they call themselves after the holy city, and stay themselves on the God of Israel; the Lord of hosts is his name.

even though you call yourself the holy city and talk about depending on the God of Israel, whose name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

For they are named after the holy city, and lean on the God of Israel; his name is the LORD of Armies.

For they name themselves after the holy city, And lean on the God of Israel; The Lord of armies is His name.

For they call themselves after the holy city, And lean on the God of Israel; The Lord of hosts is His name:

( for they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; Jehovah of hosts is his name):

For they are named after the Holy City, and lean on the God of Israel; His name is Yahweh of Hosts.

For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts[ is] his name.

Indeed, they live in the holy city; they trust in the God of Israel, whose name is the LORD who commands armies.

Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money: yet they lean on Yahweh, and say,“ Isn’t Yahweh among us? No disaster will come on us.”

Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, rest on the law, glory in God,

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion. Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.

It will come to pass in that day that the remnant of Israel, and those who have escaped from the house of Jacob will no more again lean on him who struck them, but shall lean on Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

“ Please inquire of Yahweh for us; for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon makes war against us. Perhaps Yahweh will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may withdraw from us.”

and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, they entered into the holy city and appeared to many.

Then the devil took him into the holy city. He set him on the pinnacle of the temple,

Our Redeemer, Yahweh of Armies is his name, is the Holy One of Israel.

Have you forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Do you live in fear continually all day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepares to destroy? Where is the fury of the oppressor?

Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.

Don’t trust in lying words, saying,‘ Yahweh’s temple, Yahweh’s temple, Yahweh’s temple, are these.’For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor;if you don’t oppress the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, and don’t shed innocent blood in this place, and don’t walk after other gods to your own hurt;then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even forever more.Behold, you trust in lying words that can’t profit.Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods that you have not known,then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say,‘ We are delivered;’ that you may do all these abominations?Has this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it,” says Yahweh.

But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this.You do the works of your father.” They said to him,“ We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.”

Your holy cities have become a wilderness. Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.Our holy and our beautiful house where our fathers praised you is burned with fire. All our pleasant places are laid waste.

Then Micah said,“ Now I know that Yahweh will do good to me, since I have a Levite as my priest.”

The princes of the people lived in Jerusalem. The rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.

Glorious things are spoken about you, city of God. Selah.

The portion of Jacob is not like these; for he is the maker of all things; and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance: Yahweh of Armies is his name.

When the people had come into the camp, the elders of Israel said,“ Why has Yahweh defeated us today before the Philistines? Let’s get the ark of Yahweh’s covenant out of Shiloh and bring it to us, that it may come among us and save us out of the hand of our enemies.”So the people sent to Shiloh, and they brought from there the ark of the covenant of Yahweh of Armies, who sits above the cherubim; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.When the ark of Yahweh’s covenant came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth resounded.

If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.

All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty- four.

Leave out the court which is outside of the temple, and don’t measure it, for it has been given to the nations. They will tread the holy city under foot for forty- two months.

“ Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.
