If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well- being like the waves of the sea.

Oh that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Great peace have they that love thy law; And they have no occasion of stumbling.

But let justice roll down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

Oh that my people would hearken unto me, That Israel would walk in my ways!I would soon subdue their enemies, And turn my hand against their adversaries.The haters of Jehovah should submit themselves unto him: But their time should endure for ever.He would feed them also with the finest of the wheat; And with honey out of the rock would I satisfy thee.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Distil, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, that it may bring forth salvation, and let it cause righteousness to spring up together; I, Jehovah, have created it.

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
