This is what the LORD, your protector, says, the Holy One of Israel:“ I am the LORD your God, who teaches you how to succeed, who leads you in the way you should go.

This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:“ I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.

The Lord is the Holy One of Israel. He sets his people free. He says to them,“ I am the Lord your God. I teach you what is best for you. I direct you in the way you should go.

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:“ I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.

This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:“ I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow.

This is what the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: I am the LORD your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who leads you in the way you should go.

This is what the Lord says, He who is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:“ I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to benefit, Who leads you in the way you should go.

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel:“ I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.

Thus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am Jehovah thy God, who teacheth thee to profit, who leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

This is what the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who leads you in the way you should go.

Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I[ am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way[ that] thou shouldest go.

Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:“ I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.

I will instruct and teach you about how you should live. I will advise you as I look you in the eye.

The LORD shows his faithful followers the way they should live.

Be careful not to say,“ My own ability and skill have gotten me this wealth.”You must remember the LORD your God, for he is the one who gives ability to get wealth; if you do this he will confirm his covenant that he made by oath to your ancestors, even as he has to this day.

“ Reconcile yourself with God, and be at peace with him; in this way your prosperity will be good.Accept instruction from his mouth and store up his words in your heart.

The sovereign master will give you distress to eat and suffering to drink; but your teachers will no longer be hidden; your eyes will see them.

Indeed, God is exalted in his power; who is a teacher like him?

You guide me by your wise advice, and then you will lead me to a position of honor.

All your children will be followers of the LORD, and your children will enjoy great prosperity.

The LORD is both kind and fair; that is why he teaches sinners the right way to live.May he show the humble what is right! May he teach the humble his way!

It is written in the prophets,‘ And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to me.

Many nations will come, saying,“ Come on! Let’s go up to the LORD’s mountain, to the temple of Jacob’s God, so he can teach us his commands and we can live by his laws.” For Zion will be the source of instruction; the LORD’s teachings will proceed from Jerusalem.

O God, you have taught me since I was young, and I am still declaring your amazing deeds.

The LORD said to his people:“ You are standing at the crossroads. So consider your path. Ask where the old, reliable paths are. Ask where the path is that leads to blessing and follow it. If you do, you will find rest for your souls.” But they said,“ We will not follow it!”

For your husband is the one who made you– the LORD who commands armies is his name. He is your protector, the Holy One of Israel. He is called“ God of the entire earth.”

“ But I will make a new covenant with the whole nation of Israel after I plant them back in the land,” says the LORD.“ I will put my law within them and write it on their hearts and minds. I will be their God and they will be my people.“ People will no longer need to teach their neighbors and relatives to know me. For all of them, from the least important to the most important, will know me,” says the LORD.“ For I will forgive their sin and will no longer call to mind the wrong they have done.”

This is what the LORD says, the one who made a road through the sea, a pathway through the surging waters,

then listen from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel. Certainly you will then teach them the right way to live and send rain on your land that you have given your people to possess.

You will say to the prisoners,‘ Come out,’ and to those who are in dark dungeons,‘ Emerge.’ They will graze beside the roads; on all the slopes they will find pasture.They will not be hungry or thirsty; the sun’s oppressive heat will not beat down on them, for one who has compassion on them will guide them; he will lead them to springs of water.

if indeed you heard about him and were taught in him, just as the truth is in Jesus.

This is what the LORD, Israel’s king, says, their protector, the LORD who commands armies:“ I am the first and I am the last, there is no God but me.Who is like me? Let him make his claim! Let him announce it and explain it to me– since I established an ancient people– let them announce future events!Don’t panic! Don’t be afraid! Did I not tell you beforehand and decree it? You are my witnesses! Is there any God but me? There is no other sheltering rock; I know of none.All who form idols are nothing; the things in which they delight are worthless. Their witnesses cannot see; they recognize nothing, so they are put to shame.Who forms a god and casts an idol that will prove worthless?Look, all his associates will be put to shame; the craftsmen are mere humans. Let them all assemble and take their stand! They will panic and be put to shame.A blacksmith works with his tool and forges metal over the coals. He forms it with hammers; he makes it with his strong arm. He gets hungry and loses his energy; he drinks no water and gets tired.A carpenter takes measurements; he marks out an outline of its form; he scrapes it with chisels, and marks it with a compass. He patterns it after the human form, like a well-built human being, and puts it in a shrine.He cuts down cedars and acquires a cypress or an oak. He gets trees from the forest; he plants a cedar and the rain makes it grow.A man uses it to make a fire; he takes some of it and warms himself. Yes, he kindles a fire and bakes bread. Then he makes a god and worships it; he makes an idol and bows down to it.Half of it he burns in the fire– over that half he cooks meat; he roasts a meal and fills himself. Yes, he warms himself and says,‘ Ah! I am warm as I look at the fire.’With the rest of it he makes a god, his idol; he bows down to it and worships it. He prays to it, saying,‘ Rescue me, for you are my god!’They do not comprehend or understand, for their eyes are blind and cannot see; their minds do not discern.No one thinks to himself, nor do they comprehend or understand and say to themselves:‘ I burned half of it in the fire– yes, I baked bread over the coals; I roasted meat and ate it. With the rest of it should I make a disgusting idol? Should I bow down to dry wood?’He feeds on ashes; his deceived mind misleads him. He cannot rescue himself, nor does he say,‘ Is this not a false god I hold in my right hand?’Remember these things, O Jacob, O Israel, for you are my servant. I formed you to be my servant; O Israel, I will not forget you!I remove the guilt of your rebellious deeds as if they were a cloud, the guilt of your sins as if they were a cloud. Come back to me, for I protect you.”Shout for joy, O sky, for the LORD intervenes; shout out, you subterranean regions of the earth. O mountains, give a joyful shout; you too, O forest and all your trees! For the LORD protects Jacob; he reveals his splendor through Israel.This is what the LORD, your protector, says, the one who formed you in the womb:“ I am the LORD, who made everything, who alone stretched out the sky, who fashioned the earth all by myself,

many peoples will come and say,“ Come, let us go up to the LORD’s mountain, to the temple of the God of Jacob, so he can teach us his requirements, and we can follow his standards.” For Zion will be the center for moral instruction; the LORD will issue edicts from Jerusalem.

This is what the LORD, the protector of Israel, their Holy One, says to the one who is despised and rejected by nations, a servant of rulers:“ Kings will see and rise in respect, princes will bow down, because of the faithful LORD, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen you.”

This is what the LORD says, your protector, the Holy One of Israel:“ For your sake I send to Babylon and make them all fugitives, turning the Babylonians’ joyful shouts into mourning songs.

Leave Babylon! Flee from the Babylonians! Announce it with a shout of joy! Make this known! Proclaim it throughout the earth! Say,‘ The LORD protects his servant Jacob.
