蓋六日間、耶和華創造天地與海、及其中之萬物、至第七日乃安息、故耶和華降福於安息日、定為聖日、

掬掌以量海水、布指以度蒼天、以大地之塵埃、盛於量器、以權權山、以衡衡陵、孰能為之哉、

主天主造諸天而張之、闢地及造其上之萬物、以生氣賦地上之生民、以靈性畀凡行於地者、今如是云、

此皆當頌揚主名、因主一發命便皆造成、此皆為主設立、直至永遠、主已定命、不許踰越、爾曹當從地上頌揚主、蛟龍滄海、冰雹雪霧、遵主命之狂風、

主之言語、堅立在天、直至永遠、主之誠實、永世無窮、主一建地、地遂穩立、天地遵主命存至今日、因萬物皆為主之僕役、

惟主坐於地球以上、視其居民如蝗、張天如幬、舒展穹蒼、如可居之幕、

主計眾星之數、一一稱道其名、

天主開闢穹蒼、形堅如鏡、乃爾輔助之乎、
