My own hand laid the foundations of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I summon them, they all stand up together.

你們向天舉目，看看是誰創造了這萬象？是誰把眾星一一領出來，給它們取名？祂的權柄和能力極大無比，它們一個也不會少。

創造諸天、塑造和建立大地給人居住、沒有使地荒涼的耶和華上帝說：「我是耶和華，是獨一無二的上帝。

太初你奠立大地的根基，親手創造諸天。

此外又說：「主啊，太初你奠立大地的根基，親手創造諸天。天地都要消亡，但你永遠長存。天地都會像衣服漸漸破舊，你要像捲外衣一樣把天地捲起來。天地將如衣服一樣被更換，但你永遠不變，你的年日永無窮盡。」

因為耶和華用六天造了天、地、海和其中的萬物，第七天便休息了，所以耶和華賜福這日，把它定為聖日。

誰曾用手心量海水？誰曾用手掌度蒼天？誰曾用升斗盛大地的塵土？誰曾用秤稱高山，用天平稱丘陵？

創造諸天、鋪展穹蒼、設立大地和地上的一切、賜給世人生命氣息和靈性的耶和華上帝說：

願這一切都來讚美耶和華！因為祂一發命令便創造了萬物。祂使這一切各處其位，永不改變，祂的命令永不廢棄。要在世上讚美耶和華，海中的巨獸和深淵啊，火焰、冰雹、雪花、雲霞和聽祂吩咐的狂風啊，

耶和華啊，你的話與天同存，亙古不變。你的信實萬代長存；你創造了大地，使它恆久不變。天地照你的法令一直存到今日，因為萬物都是你的僕役。

上帝的寶座設立在大地的圓圈之上，地上的人類好像蚱蜢。祂鋪展諸天，就像鋪展幔子、鋪展人居住的帳篷。

祂決定眾星的數目，給它們一一命名。

你能像祂那樣鋪展堅如銅鏡的穹蒼嗎？
