哪知，丧子、寡居这两件事在一日转眼之间必临到你；正在你多行邪术、广施符咒的时候，这两件事必全然临到你身上。

哪知，丧子、寡居这两件事一日之间忽然临到你；你虽多行邪术、广施魔咒，这两件事必全然临到你身上。

哪知，丧子、寡居这两件事一日之间忽然临到你；你虽多行邪术、广施魔咒，这两件事必全然临到你身上。

谁知寡居、丧子二事却忽然在同一天临到你身上。即使你懂得许多邪术和符咒，也于事无补。

不料丧子和寡居这两件事，竟在忽然之间，一日之内，要临到你身上！正在你多行邪术，竭力施符咒的时候，这两件事就必都临到你身上。

丧子和寡居这两件事必在一日之内突然临到你！你的法术再多，符咒再有威力，这两件事也必全然临到你！

不料喪子和寡居這兩件事，竟在忽然之間，一日之內，要臨到你身上！正在你多行邪術，竭力施符咒的時候，這兩件事就必都臨到你身上。

哪知喪子寡居這兩件事、一眨眼之際、一日之間就臨到你了！正在你多行邪術、極力施符咒時，這兩件事就完完全全臨到你身上了！

喪子和寡居這兩件事必在一日之內突然臨到你！你的法術再多，符咒再有威力，這兩件事也必全然臨到你！

一日之間、夫喪子殤、二難並至。爾惑左道、信巫覡、邪慝方張、患難已集、

不知喪子為嫠、此二難必在一日俄頃間臨爾、爾雖多行邪術、廣施符咒、此二難亦勃然勃然或作全然臨爾、

Both of these will overtake you in a moment, on a single day: loss of children and widowhood. They will come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and all your potent spells.

But both of these things will happen to you in a moment. They will take place on a single day. You will lose your children. And you will become a widow. That is what will happen to you. All your evil magic and powerful spells will not save you.

These two things shall come to you in a moment, in one day; the loss of children and widowhood shall come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and the great power of your enchantments.

Well, both these things will come upon you in a moment: widowhood and the loss of your children. Yes, these calamities will come upon you, despite all your witchcraft and magic.

These two things will happen to you suddenly, in one day: loss of children and widowhood. They will happen to you in their entirety, in spite of your many sorceries and the potency of your spells.

But these two things will come on you suddenly in one day: Loss of children and widowhood. They will come on you in full measure In spite of your many sorceries, In spite of the great power of your spells.

But these two things shall come to you In a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness Because of the multitude of your sorceries, For the great abundance of your enchantments.

but these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood; in their full measure shall they come upon thee, in the multitude of thy sorceries, and the great abundance of thine enchantments.

These two things will happen to you suddenly, in one day: loss of children and widowhood. They will happen to you in their entirety, in spite of your many sorceries and the potency of your spells.

But these two[ things] shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries,[ and] for the great abundance of thine enchantments.

Both of these will come upon you suddenly, in one day! You will lose your children and be widowed. You will be overwhelmed by these tragedies, despite your many incantations and your numerous amulets.

But these two things will come to you in a moment in one day, the loss of children and widowhood. They will come on you in their full measure, in the multitude of your sorceries, and the great abundance of your enchantments.

人方謂平康安固、滅亡突及之、如產難之及妊婦、而莫之避也、

蓋此美妓多淫、工行邪術、以淫行鬻列邦、以邪術鬻諸族、

猝然荒寂、因威烈而滅沒兮、

故一日間、諸災並臻、即死亡悲哀饑荒、盡焚以火、蓋鞫之之主上帝、乃有能者也、世上諸王、素與行淫而奢華者、見所焚之煙、則為之哭而擗、因其痛苦而懼、則遠立曰、禍哉、禍哉、大巴比倫鞏固之邑乎、半時間爾之鞫至矣、

地震動而愁慘、蓋耶和華攻巴比倫之志已定、必使其地荒蕪、無人居處、

但畏怯、不信、可憎、兇殺、淫亂、巫術、拜像、及凡言誑之人、其分乃在焚火與硫之湖、此即二次之死也、○

乃大聲而呼、命召術士、迦勒底人、卜筮咸入、王告巴比倫哲士曰、讀斯文為我解之者、必身衣絳袍、項垂金索、治國職居其三、

乃召巫人、術士卜筮、及迦勒底人咸至、為王說夢、眾入、立於王前、

彼之來、乃依撒但之工作、以諸能諸兆諸偽蹟、又以非義之諸詭譎、加於淪亡者、因其不納真理之愛、致得救焉、

曰、勿稱我拿俄米、當稱我為瑪拉、拿俄米譯即樂瑪拉譯即苦蓋全能者待我苦甚、

瑪倫基連俱亡、遺拿俄米、無夫、亦無子、

其弓擊殺少壯、不恤胎孕、其目不惜孩提、巴比倫乃列國中之尊榮、迦勒底人所誇之華美、將若所多瑪蛾摩拉、為上帝所傾覆、永無人跡、代無居民、在此、亞拉伯人不張其幕、牧者不臥其羊、野獸伏於斯、鴟鴞盈其室、鴕鳥棲止於斯、野羊踴躍於斯、豺狼嗥於第宅、野犬鳴於華宮、其時伊邇、其日不延、

近邑門、有舁死者出、其母獨此子而嫠、邑民送之者甚眾、主見而憫之、曰、毋哭、

萬軍之耶和華曰、我將起而攻之、滅絕巴比倫之名、與其遺民、及其子孫、耶和華言之矣、使其地為蝟所據、變為水澤、掃以滅亡之帚、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、○

且曰、耶和華歟、爾言必滅斯土、使無居民、人畜俱泯、永為荒蕪、誦書既竟、則繫書於石、投諸伯拉河中、曰、巴比倫因耶和華所降之災、必如是沈淪、不得復起、其力憊矣、耶利米之言、至是而止、

有大力之使者、舉石如大磨、投之於海、曰、巴比倫大邑、將如此猛然被投、不復見矣、鼓琴奏樂品簫吹角之聲、不復聞於爾間、百工不復見於爾間、磨聲不復聞於爾間、燈光不復照於爾間、新郎新婦之聲、不復聞於爾間、蓋爾諸商素為世之尊者、萬國亦以爾巫術而受惑矣、

其外則有犬類、巫術、淫亂、兇殺、拜像、及好誑而行之者、○

於是巫人術士、迦勒底人、卜筮皆至、我告以夢、彼未為我解之、

所生之子、無一導之、所育之子、無一扶之、荒涼傾覆、饑饉干戈、爾遭此災、誰為爾哀、我何以慰爾哉、

其餘未死於此災者、不悔其手之所為、仍拜諸鬼與金銀銅木石之偶、乃不能見不能聞不能行者也、亦不悔其兇殺巫術淫亂竊盜焉、
