因此，祸患要临到你身；你不知何时发现灾害落在你身上，你也不能除掉；所不知道的毁灭也必忽然临到你身。

Disaster will come upon you, and you will not know how to conjure it away. A calamity will fall upon you that you cannot ward off with a ransom; a catastrophe you cannot foresee will suddenly come upon you.

So horrible trouble will come on you. You will not know how to use your evil magic to make it go away. Great trouble will fall on you. No amount of money can keep it away. Something terrible will happen to you all at once. You will not see it coming ahead of time.

But evil shall come upon you, which you will not know how to charm away; disaster shall fall upon you, for which you will not be able to atone; and ruin shall come upon you suddenly, of which you know nothing.

So disaster will overtake you, and you won’t be able to charm it away. Calamity will fall upon you, and you won’t be able to buy your way out. A catastrophe will strike you suddenly, one for which you are not prepared.

But disaster will happen to you; you will not know how to avert it. And it will fall on you, but you will be unable to ward it off. Devastation will happen to you suddenly and unexpectedly.

人正说“平安稳妥”的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同产难临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。

主人就大怒，把他交给掌刑的，等他还清了所欠的债。

你们忘记神的，要思想这事，免得我把你们撕碎，无人搭救。

耶和华的使者出去，在亚述营中杀了十八万五千人。清早有人起来一看，都是死尸了。

我们的敌人且说：“趁他们不知不见，我们进入他们中间，杀他们，使工作止住。”

他们火热的时候，我必为他们设摆酒席，使他们沉醉，好叫他们快乐，睡了长觉，永不醒起。这是耶和华说的。我必使他们像羊羔、像公绵羊和公山羊下到宰杀之地。”“示沙克何竟被攻取？天下所称赞的何竟被占据？巴比伦在列国中何竟变为荒场？海水涨起，漫过巴比伦；他被许多海浪遮盖。

“所写的文字是：‘弥尼，弥尼，提客勒，乌法珥新。’讲解是这样：弥尼，就是神已经数算你国的年日到此完毕。提客勒，就是你被称在天平里，显出你的亏欠。毗勒斯，就是你的国分裂，归与玛代人和波斯人。”伯沙撒下令，人就把紫袍给但以理穿上，把金链给他戴在颈项上，又传令使他在国中位列第三。当夜，迦勒底王伯沙撒被杀。

所以要回想你是怎样领受、怎样听见的，又要遵守，并要悔改。若不警醒，我必临到你那里，如同贼一样。我几时临到，你也决不能知道。

地上的君王，素来与她行淫、一同奢华的，看见烧她的烟，就必为她哭泣哀号。因怕她的痛苦，就远远地站着说：“哀哉！哀哉！巴比伦大城，坚固的城啊，一时之间你的刑罚就来到了。”

到了半夜，耶和华把埃及地所有的长子，就是从坐宝座的法老，直到被掳囚在监里之人的长子，以及一切头生的牲畜，尽都杀了。法老和一切臣仆，并埃及众人，夜间都起来了。在埃及有大哀号，无一家不死一个人的。

我告诉你，若有半文钱没有还清，你断不能从那里出来。”
