“你肆无忌惮地行恶，自以为没有人看见。你被自己的聪明智慧欺骗，自以为天下无双。

你倚靠你自己的壞行為，說：『沒有人看見我』；嘿，你的聰明你的知識把你拉走了！你心裏說：『我，我以外再沒有別的』。

你依靠自己的惡行，說：『沒有人看見我。』你的智慧和知識把你引入歧途，你心裡就說：『只有我，除我以外再沒有別的！』

爾恃己惡、自言無見我者、爾之智識誘爾、自謂有我、我外無他、

爾自恃巧令、迷眩於惡、自謂人不及見、我為主母、無能比儗。

爾恃己惡曰、無人見我、爾之智慧知識、誘惑爾、心自妄思、惟獨有我、再無他國、

You have trusted in your wickedness and have said,‘ No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and knowledge mislead you when you say to yourself,‘ I am, and there is none besides me.’

You have felt secure in your evil ways. You have said,‘ No one sees what I’m doing.’ Your wisdom and knowledge lead you astray. You say to yourself,‘ I am like a god. No one is greater than I am.’

You felt secure in your wickedness; you said,“ No one sees me”; your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray, and you said in your heart,“ I am, and there is no one besides me.”

“ You felt secure in your wickedness.‘ No one sees me,’ you said. But your‘ wisdom’ and‘ knowledge’ have led you astray, and you said,‘ I am the only one, and there is no other.’

You were secure in your wickedness; you said,‘ No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and knowledge led you astray. You said to yourself,‘ I am, and there is no one else.’

You felt secure in your wickedness and said,‘ No one sees me,’ Your wisdom and your knowledge, they have led you astray; For you have said in your heart,‘ I am, and there is no one besides me.’

“ For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said,‘ No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart,‘ I am, and there is no one else besides me.’

For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness; thou hast said, None seeth me; thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee, and thou hast said in thy heart, I am, and there is none else besides me.

You were secure in your wickedness; you said,‘ No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and knowledge led you astray. You said to yourself,‘ I exist, and there is no one else.’

For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I[ am], and none else beside me.

You were complacent in your evil deeds; you thought,‘ No one sees me.’ Your self-professed wisdom and knowledge lead you astray, when you say,‘ I am unique! No one can compare to me!’

For you have trusted in your wickedness. You have said,‘ No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and your knowledge has perverted you. You have said in your heart,‘ I am, and there is no one else besides me.’

看哪，這就是那不以上帝為保障的人，他只倚靠豐富的財物，在邪惡上堅立自己。

禍哉！那些在自己眼中有智慧，在自己面前有通達的人。

禍哉！那些向耶和華深藏謀略的，他們在暗中行事，說：「有誰看見我們呢？誰會注意我們呢？」

就如經上所記：「我要摧毀智慧人的智慧，廢棄聰明人的聰明。」智慧人在哪裏？文士在哪裏？這世上的辯士在哪裏？上帝豈不是已使這世上的智慧變成愚拙了嗎？既然世人憑自己的智慧不認識上帝，上帝就本着自己的智慧樂意藉着人所傳愚拙的話拯救那些信的人。

他對我說：「以色列家和猶大家的罪孽極其重大。遍地都有流血的事，滿城有冤屈，因為他們說：『耶和華已經離棄這地，他看不見我們。』

他們自以為聰明，反成了愚昧，

人豈能在隱密處藏身，使我看不見他呢？這是耶和華說的。我豈不遍滿天和地嗎？這是耶和華說的。

他對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列家的長老，暗中在自己偶像的房間裏所做的嗎？因為他們說：『耶和華看不見我們；耶和華已經離棄這地。』」

無人按公義控訴，也無人憑誠實辯白；卻倚靠虛妄，口說謊言，懷毒害，生罪孽。

「人子啊，你要對推羅的君王說，主耶和華如此說：你心裏高傲，說：『我是神明；我在海中坐諸神之位。』雖然你把你的心比作神明的心，你卻不過是人，並不是神明！看哪，你比但以理更有智慧，任何祕密都不能向你隱藏。你靠自己的智慧聰明得了財寶，把金銀收入庫房；你靠自己的大智慧以貿易增添財寶，又因你的財寶心裏高傲；所以主耶和華如此說：因你把你的心比作神明的心，

他以灰塵為食，心裏迷糊，以致偏邪，不能自救，也不能說：「我右手中豈不是有虛謊嗎？」

他們彼此勉勵，設下惡計；他們商量，暗設圈套，說：「誰能看見呢？」

沒有人能掌握生命，將生命留住；也沒有人有權力掌管死期。這場爭戰無人能免；邪惡也不能救那行邪惡的人。

他們說：「耶和華必不看見，雅各的上帝必不留意。」百姓中像畜牲一般的人當思想，你們愚昧人要到幾時才有智慧呢？造耳朵的，難道自己聽不見嗎？造眼睛的，難道自己看不見嗎？

因為這世界的智慧在上帝看來是愚拙的。如經上記着：「主使有智慧的人中了自己的詭計；」

你們曾說：「我們已與死亡立約，與陰間結盟，不可擋的鞭子揮過時，必不臨到我們；因我們以謊言為避難所，靠虛假來藏身」；

人真是虛空，人真是虛假；放在天平裏就必浮起，他們一共比空氣還輕。不要仗勢欺人，也不要因搶奪而驕傲；若財寶加增，不要放在心上。

你說：『上帝知道甚麼？他豈能透過幽暗施行審判呢？密雲將他遮蓋，使他不能看見；他周遊穹蒼。』

他心裏說：「上帝竟忘記了，上帝轉臉永不觀看。」
