爾恃己惡、自言無見我者、爾之智識誘爾、自謂有我、我外無他、

爾自恃巧令、迷眩於惡、自謂人不及見、我為主母、無能比儗。

爾恃己惡曰、無人見我、爾之智慧知識、誘惑爾、心自妄思、惟獨有我、再無他國、

You have trusted in your wickedness and have said,‘ No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and knowledge mislead you when you say to yourself,‘ I am, and there is none besides me.’

You have felt secure in your evil ways. You have said,‘ No one sees what I’m doing.’ Your wisdom and knowledge lead you astray. You say to yourself,‘ I am like a god. No one is greater than I am.’

You felt secure in your wickedness; you said,“ No one sees me”; your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray, and you said in your heart,“ I am, and there is no one besides me.”

“ You felt secure in your wickedness.‘ No one sees me,’ you said. But your‘ wisdom’ and‘ knowledge’ have led you astray, and you said,‘ I am the only one, and there is no other.’

You were secure in your wickedness; you said,‘ No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and knowledge led you astray. You said to yourself,‘ I am, and there is no one else.’

You felt secure in your wickedness and said,‘ No one sees me,’ Your wisdom and your knowledge, they have led you astray; For you have said in your heart,‘ I am, and there is no one besides me.’

“ For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said,‘ No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart,‘ I am, and there is no one else besides me.’

For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness; thou hast said, None seeth me; thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee, and thou hast said in thy heart, I am, and there is none else besides me.

You were secure in your wickedness; you said,‘ No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and knowledge led you astray. You said to yourself,‘ I exist, and there is no one else.’

For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I[ am], and none else beside me.

You were complacent in your evil deeds; you thought,‘ No one sees me.’ Your self-professed wisdom and knowledge lead you astray, when you say,‘ I am unique! No one can compare to me!’

For you have trusted in your wickedness. You have said,‘ No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and your knowledge has perverted you. You have said in your heart,‘ I am, and there is no one else besides me.’

『看哪，這就是那不以上帝為逃難所的勇士！他只倚靠他財物之豐富，而逃難於自己的毁滅中！』

有禍啊，那些眼光自看為有智慧，見解自以為高明的人！

有禍啊，那些深深包藏着謀略、不順從永恆主的人！他們所行的都在黑暗中，自己說：『誰看見我們？誰知道我們？』

因為經上記着說：『我要除滅智慧人的智慧，廢棄聰明人的聰明。』智慧人在哪裏？經學士在哪裏？今世的辯士在哪裏？上帝豈不是叫世界上的智慧變成了愚拙麼？本着上帝的智慧、世人既沒有憑着智慧認識上帝，上帝就樂意藉着宣傳之話的愚拙、來救信的人。

他對我說：『以色列家和猶大家的罪孽極而又極之大，遍地滿有流血的事，城裏滿了冤屈，因為他們說：「永恆主離棄了這地了！永恆主看不見我們！」

他們自稱為有智慧，反而成了愚拙，

永恆主發神諭說：人哪能在隱密處藏身，使我看不見他呢？永恆主發神諭說：我，難道我不充滿着天地麼？

他對我說：『人子啊，以色列家的長老各在自己鏨像的屋裏暗中所行的、你看見了沒有？他們常說：「永恆主看不見我們；永恆主已經離棄了這地了。」』

沒有人按公義告狀，沒有人憑誠實辯訴；都倚靠着虛空，說虛謊的話；所孕懷的是毒害，所生的是奸惡。

『人子啊，你要對推羅的人君說：主永恆主這麼說：『因你心裏高傲，說：「我乃是神；我在海中心，坐神的寶座」；其實你不過是人，並不是神，儘管你居心、自以為有神的心機。——哼，你居然比但以理還有智慧！任何祕密事你看都不模糊；靠着你的智慧聰明，你為自己得了資財；你得了金銀收入你的府庫；靠着你作生意的大智慧你增大了你的資財，你竟因你的資財而心裏高傲！——就因這樣，故此主永恆主這麼說：你居心既自以為有神的心機，

嘿，以爐灰為食的人！被愚弄的心使他偏行了；他不能援救自己，也不能說：『莫非我右手中有虛假？』

他們堅執着壞念頭，計算着要埋藏網羅，說：『誰能看見它，

沒有人有權力掌管着生氣，將生氣留住；也沒有人有權力掌管着死的日子：戰爭上並沒有免役的事；邪惡也不能使那好行邪惡的逃脫。

居然竟說：『永恆主必不看，雅各的上帝必不關心。』民間的畜類人哪，你們要明白；愚頑人哪，你們到幾時才能通達呢？那栽耳朵的、難道不聽見麼？那塑造眼睛的、難道不看見麼？

因為這世界的智慧、在上帝看就是愚拙。如經上記着說：『上帝用智慧人自己的狡猾、去抓住他們』；

因為你們曾說：『我們跟死亡立了約，我們同陰間結了盟；橫流猛漲的大水經過時，也不會淹到我們；因為我們以謊言為避難所，以虛假為隱匿處』；

下流人不過是虛幻，上流人乃是虛假；放在天平裏就浮起；一概是噓氣。不要靠勒索之利，也不要因搶奪而變為虛妄；資財若生息增加，不要放在心上。

故此你老說：「上帝知道甚麼？他哪能看透幽暗而施行審判呢？密雲遮蔽着他，使他不能看見；他是周遊於天穹之上的。」

他心裏說：『上帝忘了；他掩了面，永不看了。』
