以利亞對他們說：“捉住巴力的先知，一個也不要讓他們逃脫。”於是眾人捉住他們。以利亞帶他們下到基順河邊，在那裡殺了他們。

彼勒俯伏，尼波彎腰；巴比倫人的偶像馱在走獸和牲口上。你們所抬的現在都成了重擔，成了疲乏的牲畜身上的重負。

你為自己所做的神在哪裡？你遭遇患難時，如果他們能救你，就讓他們起來吧！猶大啊！你的城有多少，你的神也有多少！
