雅各家，以色列家一切余剩的要听我言：“你们自从生下，就蒙我保抱，自从出胎，便蒙我怀搋。

雅各家，以色列家所有的余民哪，你们自从生下就蒙我抱，自出母胎便由我来背，你们都要听从我。

耶和华说：“雅各家啊，以色列家的余民啊，要听我说。你们一出生，我就照顾你们；一出母胎，我就呵护你们。

“雅各家啊，以色列家所有余剩的人哪！你们都要听我的话，你们自出母腹，就蒙我怀抱；自出母胎，就蒙我提携。

“雅各家啊，以色列家所有的余剩之民哪，你们这些自出母腹就被我负抱、自出母胎就被我背负的人，要听我的话！

『雅各家啊，要聽我！以色列家的一切餘民哪，要細聽！你們自從出母腹、就蒙保抱，自從出母胎、便蒙懷搋；

「雅各家啊，以色列家所有的餘剩之民哪，你們這些自出母腹就被我負抱、自出母胎就被我背負的人，要聽我的話！

雅各家、以色列之遺民歟、爾其聽我、爾自初生、為我襁負、爾自出胎、為我懷抱、

雅各家以色列族之餘民、自肇厥邦、我保抱之、提攜之、若懷赤子、以至耄耋、皓然白首、我扶翼爾、拯救爾、爾其聽予焉。

雅各家以色列族之餘民、當聽我言、自爾有生、我保抱爾、自爾出胎、出胎或作生於世我提攜爾、

“ Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnant of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born.

and in the wilderness where you have seen how that Yahweh your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went, until you came to this place.”

I have relied on you from the womb. You are he who took me out of my mother’s womb. I will always praise you.

For though your people, Israel, are like the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will return. A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.

Yes, I swore to you, and entered into a covenant with you,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ and you became mine.“‘“ Then washed I you with water. Yes, I thoroughly washed away your blood from you, and I anointed you with oil.I clothed you also with embroidered work, and put sealskin sandals on you. I dressed you with fine linen and covered you with silk.I decked you with ornaments, put bracelets on your hands, and put a chain on your neck.I put a ring on your nose, and earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head.Thus you were decked with gold and silver. Your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered work. You ate fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly beautiful, and you prospered to royal estate.Your renown went out among the nations for your beauty; for it was perfect, through my majesty which I had put on you,” says the Lord Yahweh.“‘“ But you trusted in your beauty, and played the prostitute because of your renown, and poured out your prostitution on everyone who passed by. It was his.You took some of your garments, and made for yourselves high places decked with various colors, and played the prostitute on them. This shall not happen, neither shall it be.

Unless Yahweh of Armies had left to us a very small remnant, we would have been as Sodom. We would have been like Gomorrah.

But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust while at my mother’s breasts.I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb. You are my God since my mother bore me.

Listen, islands, to me. Listen, you peoples, from afar: Yahweh has called me from the womb; from the inside of my mother, he has mentioned my name.He has made my mouth like a sharp sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. He has made me a polished shaft. He has kept me close in his quiver.

Listen to me, you stubborn- hearted, who are far from righteousness!

“ Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.I am Yahweh, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. It may be Yahweh your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which Yahweh your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:“ I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.

‘ You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to myself.

“ Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law. Don’t fear the reproach of men, and don’t be dismayed at their insults.

“ Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek Yahweh. Look to the rock you were cut from, and to the quarry you were dug from.

“ Hear this, house of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel, and have come out of the waters of Judah. You swear by Yahweh’s name, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness—

Remember these things, Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant. I have formed you. You are my servant. Israel, you will not be forgotten by me.

Yet listen now, Jacob my servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen.This is what Yahweh who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you says:“ Don’t be afraid, Jacob my servant; and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

As an eagle that stirs up her nest, that flutters over her young, he spread abroad his wings, he took them, he bore them on his feathers.Yahweh alone led him. There was no foreign god with him.
