For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honor, though you do not acknowledge me.

Cyrus, I am sending for you by name. I am doing it for the good of the family of Jacob. They are my servant. I am doing it for Israel. They are my chosen people. You do not know anything about me. But I am giving you a title of honor.

For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me.

“ And why have I called you for this work? Why did I call you by name when you did not know me? It is for the sake of Jacob my servant, Israel my chosen one.

可是你，以色列啊，我的仆人！雅各啊，我所拣选的，我朋友亚伯拉罕的后裔！你是我从地极领来，从地角召来的；我对你说：“你是我的仆人；我拣选了你，没有弃绝你。”

所以怎么样呢？以色列人并没有获得他们所寻求的，蒙拣选的人却获得了，而其余的人都成了刚硬的，

我的仆人雅各，我所拣选的以色列啊，现在你当听！

因为我边走边观察你们所敬拜的，发现一座祭坛上刻着‘献给不认识的神’；那么，我把你们所不认识而敬拜的这一位，现在传讲给你们。

如果那些日子不被减少，就没有一个人能得救。可是为了那些蒙拣选的人，那些日子将被减少。

如果不是主减少了那些日子，就没有一个人能得救。然而，为了那些蒙拣选的人，就是他所拣选的，他减少了那些日子。

我论居鲁士说：‘我的牧人！他必成就我所喜悦的一切’，论耶路撒冷说：‘必被重建’，又论圣殿说：‘根基必被奠定。’”耶和华紧拉着居鲁士的右手，让列国降服在他面前，使君王们的腰带松开；又让门在他面前敞开，使城门也不关闭——耶和华对所膏立的居鲁士如此说：

从前，你们不认识神的时候，固然给那些本性上不是神的做了奴仆，但如今，你们认识了神——不过更要说，被神所认识——怎么能再回到那无能、无用的原则里去呢？你们愿意再重新做它们的奴仆吗？

但这并不是说神的话语落了空，因为由以色列所生的，并不都是以色列人；

你们的救赎主，以色列的圣者耶和华如此说：“为你们的缘故，我已经派人到巴比伦去，要把所有的人作为难民带下来，使迦勒底人的欢声变为哀歌。

因为我是耶和华你的神，是以色列的圣者，你的拯救者，所以我牺牲埃及作你的赎价，牺牲库实和西拔替代你。因为你在我眼中看为宝贵、视为尊贵，更因为我爱你，所以我牺牲别人替代你，牺牲万族替代你的性命。

那时候，你们与基督无关；被排除在以色列国民之外；在那些所应许的诸约上是外人；在这世界上没有盼望、没有神。

而不要像那些不认识神的外邦人那样，放纵邪情私欲；
