我指己而誓、口出真言、決不反覆、萬膝必向我而屈、萬口必指我而誓、

By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear.

I have made a promise in my own name. I have spoken with complete honesty. I will not take back a single word. I said,‘ Everyone will kneel down to me. Everyone’s mouth will make promises in my name.’

By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return:‘ To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.’

I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word: Every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to me.”

By myself I have sworn; truth has gone from my mouth, a word that will not be revoked: Every knee will bow to me, every tongue will swear allegiance.

I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, And shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, Every tongue shall take an oath.

I solemnly make this oath– what I say is true and reliable:‘ Surely every knee will bow to me, every tongue will solemnly affirm;

so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

But as for you, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or you as well, why do you regard your brother or sister with contempt? For we will all appear before the judgment seat of God.For it is written:“ As I live, says the Lord, to Me every knee will bow, And every tongue will give praise to God.”So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God.

So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it.

I have not spoken in secret, In some dark land; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob,‘ Seek Me in a wasteland’; I, the Lord, speak righteousness, Declaring things that are right.

Because the one who is blessed on the earth Will be blessed by the God of truth; And the one who swears an oath on the earth Will swear by the God of truth; Because the former troubles are forgotten, And because they are hidden from My sight!

For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear an oath by no one greater, He swore by Himself,saying,“ indeed I will greatly bless you and I will greatly multiply you.”And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise.For people swear an oath by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath serving as confirmation is an end of every dispute.In the same way God, desiring even more to demonstrate to the heirs of the promise the fact that His purpose is unchangeable, confirmed it with an oath,so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to hold firmly to the hope set before us.

But the king will rejoice in God; Everyone who swears by Him will boast, For the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped.

You shall fear only the Lord your God; and you shall worship Him and swear by His name.

How he swore to the Lord And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob,

Then the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven,and said,“ By Myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son,indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand, which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies.And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

God is not a man, that He would lie, Nor a son of man, that He would change His mind; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Moreover, they made an oath to the Lord with a loud voice, with shouting, trumpets, and with horns.All Judah rejoiced concerning the oath, for they had sworn with all their heart and had sought Him earnestly, and He let them find Him. So the Lord gave them rest on every side.

But what is the divine response to him?“ I have kept for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”

are joining with their kinsmen, their nobles, and are taking on themselves a curse and an oath to walk in God’s Law, which was given through Moses, God’s servant, and to keep and to comply with all the commandments of God our Lord, and His ordinances and statutes;

On that day five cities in the land of Egypt will be speaking the language of Canaan and swearing allegiance to the Lord of armies; one will be called the City of Destruction.On that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a memorial stone to the Lord beside its border.And it will become a sign and a witness to the Lord of armies in the land of Egypt; for they will cry out to the Lord because of oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Champion, and He will save them.So the Lord will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord on that day. They will even worship with sacrifice and offering, and will make a vow to the Lord and perform it.

The God of Abraham and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge between us.” So Jacob swore by the fear of his father Isaac.

For I have sworn by Myself,” declares the Lord,“ that Bozrah will become an object of horror, a disgrace, a wasteland, and a curse; and all its cities will become permanent ruins.”

For I will pour water on the thirsty land And streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring, And My blessing on your descendants;And they will spring up among the grass Like poplars by streams of water.’This one will say,‘ I am the Lord’s’; And that one will call on the name of Jacob; And another will write on his hand,‘ Belonging to the Lord,’ And will give himself Israel’s name with honor.

But if you will not obey these words, I swear by Myself,” declares the Lord,“ that this house will become a place of ruins.” ’ ”

The Lord God has sworn by Himself, the Lord God of armies has declared:“ I loathe the arrogance of Jacob, And detest his citadels; Therefore I will give up the city and all it contains.”
