我指己而誓、口出真言、決不反覆、萬膝必向我而屈、萬口必指我而誓、

By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear.

I have made a promise in my own name. I have spoken with complete honesty. I will not take back a single word. I said,‘ Everyone will kneel down to me. Everyone’s mouth will make promises in my name.’

I solemnly make this oath– what I say is true and reliable:‘ Surely every knee will bow to me, every tongue will solemnly affirm;

that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth,

But thou, why dost thou judge thy brother? or thou again, why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment- seat of God.For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, to me every knee shall bow, And every tongue shall confess to God.So then each one of us shall give account of himself to God.

so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness; I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I, Jehovah, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

so that he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

For when God made promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he sware by himself,saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.And thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.For men swear by the greater: and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.Wherein God, being minded to show more abundantly unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us:

But the king shall rejoice in God: Every one that sweareth by him shall glory; For the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

Thou shalt fear Jehovah thy God; and him shalt thou serve, and shalt swear by his name.

How he sware unto Jehovah, And vowed unto the Mighty One of Jacob:

And the angel of Jehovah called unto Abraham a second time out of heaven,and said, By myself have I sworn, saith Jehovah, because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son,that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

God is not a man, that he should lie, Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and will he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and will he not make it good?

And they sware unto Jehovah with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.And all Judah rejoiced at the oath; for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and Jehovah gave them rest round about.

But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have left for myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal.

They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of Jehovah our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes;

In that day there shall be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan, and swear to Jehovah of hosts; one shall be called The city of destruction.In that day shall there be an altar to Jehovah in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to Jehovah.And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto Jehovah of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they shall cry unto Jehovah because of oppressors, and he will send them a saviour, and a defender, and he will deliver them.And Jehovah shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know Jehovah in that day; yea, they shall worship with sacrifice and oblation, and shall vow a vow unto Jehovah, and shall perform it.

The God of Abraham, and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge betwixt us. And Jacob sware by the Fear of his father Isaac.

For I have sworn by myself, saith Jehovah, that Bozrah shall become an astonishment, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.

For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:and they shall spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses.One shall say, I am Jehovah’s; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto Jehovah, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith Jehovah, that this house shall become a desolation.

The Lord Jehovah hath sworn by himself, saith Jehovah, the God of hosts: I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces; therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.
