It is I who made the earth and created mankind on it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.

因着信、我們了悟今世乃由上帝的話設備成的，進而領會看得見的東西從不顯露之物造出來。

「哀，主永恆主啊，你看，是你用大能大力和伸出來的膀臂創造了天地；在你並沒有難成的事。

誰曾用手心量諸水，用手虎口測諸天呢？誰用升斗盛大地的塵土，用秤稱山嶺，用天平平小山呢？

你不曾知道，不曾看見麼？永恆的上帝永恆之主、創造地之儘邊的、他並不疲乏，也不困倦；他的明智不可測度。

上帝說：『我們要造人，按着我們的形像，照我們的樣式來造；讓他們管理海裏的魚、空中的飛鳥，也管理牲口、以及全地、和爬在地上的各樣爬行動物。』上帝就按自己的形像創造人：按上帝的形像創造他：創造他們有男有女。

你起初奠定了地的根基；天乃是你的手所造的。
