Yahweh says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him, and strip kings of their armor; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

我耶和华所膏的居鲁士；我搀扶他的右手，使列国降伏在他面前。我也要放松列王的腰带，使城门在他面前敞开，不得关闭。我对他如此说：

耶和华对所膏的居鲁士如此说，他的右手我曾搀扶，使列国降服在他面前，列王的腰带我曾松开，使城门在他面前敞开，不得关闭：

“我耶和华膏立塞鲁士为王，我牵着他的右手帮助他征服列国、降服列王；我使城门洞开，让他通行无阻。我对他说，

“我耶和华所膏立的古列，我紧握着他的右手，使列国降服在他面前；我也松开列王的腰带；我使门户在他面前敞开，使城门不得关闭；耶和华对古列这样说：

耶和华紧拉着居鲁士的右手，让列国降服在他面前，使君王们的腰带松开；又让门在他面前敞开，使城门也不关闭——耶和华对所膏立的居鲁士如此说：

我－耶和華所膏的塞魯士；我攙扶他的右手，使列國降伏在他面前。我也要放鬆列王的腰帶，使城門在他面前敞開，不得關閉。我對他如此說：

我永恆主所膏立的古列，我拉他的右手，使列國降服在他面前；列王的腰帶我必鬆開；我必使門戶在他面前敞開，使一切大門不得關閉：我永恆主對古列這麼說；

耶和華緊拉著居魯士的右手，讓列國降服在他面前，使君王們的腰帶鬆開；又讓門在他面前敞開，使城門也不關閉——耶和華對所膏立的居魯士如此說：

耶和華膏古列、執其右手、服列國於其前、去諸王之腰束、啟其邑門、俾不復閉、

耶和華告受膏古列曰、我左右爾、使列國賓服、使諸王荏弱、大啟邑門、不能閉拒。

受膏王古列、為我耶和華所立、我扶其右手、使列國降服其前、使諸王柔弱無力、使諸邑門啟於其前、不得閉之、我對之如是曰、

“ This is what the Lord says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

“ Cyrus is my anointed king. I take hold of his right hand. I give him the power to bring nations under his control. I help him strip kings of their power to go to war against him. I break city gates open so he can go through them. I say to him,

Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed:

This is what the Lord says to Cyrus, his anointed one, whose right hand he will empower. Before him, mighty kings will be paralyzed with fear. Their fortress gates will be opened, never to shut again.

The LORD says this to Cyrus, his anointed, whose right hand I have grasped to subdue nations before him and disarm kings, to open doors before him, and even city gates will not be shut:

This is what the Lord says to Cyrus His anointed, Whom I have taken by the right hand, To subdue nations before him And to undo the weapons belt on the waist of kings; To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

“ Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held— To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut:

Thus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him, and I will loose the loins of kings; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

The Lord says this to Cyrus, His anointed, whose right hand I have grasped to subdue nations before him, to disarm kings, to open the doors before him and the gates will not be shut:

Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

This is what the LORD says to his chosen one, to Cyrus, whose right hand I hold in order to subdue nations before him, and disarm kings, to open doors before him, so gates remain unclosed:

Who says of Cyrus,‘ He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure,’ even saying of Jerusalem,‘ She will be built;’ and of the temple,‘ Your foundation will be laid.’”

For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you,‘ Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’

“ I, Yahweh, have called you in righteousness. I will hold your hand. I will keep you, and make you a covenant for the people, as a light for the nations,

Nevertheless, I am continually with you. You have held my right hand.

“ You are my battle ax and weapons of war. With you I will break the nations into pieces. With you I will destroy kingdoms.With you I will break in pieces the horse and his rider.With you I will break in pieces the chariot and him who rides therein. With you I will break in pieces man and woman. With you I will break in pieces the old man and the youth. With you I will break in pieces the young man and the virgin.With you I will break in pieces the shepherd and his flock. With you I will break in pieces the farmer and his yoke. With you I will break in pieces governors and deputies.“ I will render to Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight,” says Yahweh.

“ Make the arrows sharp! Hold the shields firmly! Yahweh has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes, because his purpose is against Babylon, to destroy it; for it is the vengeance of Yahweh, the vengeance of his temple.

I am Yahweh, and there is no one else. Besides me, there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not known me,

Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that Yahweh’s word by Jeremiah’s mouth might be accomplished, Yahweh stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

The gates of the rivers are opened, and the palace is dissolved.

I have commanded my consecrated ones; yes, I have called my mighty men for my anger, even my proudly exulting ones.

“ A sword is on the Chaldeans,” says Yahweh,“ and on the inhabitants of Babylon, on her princes, and on her wise men.

“ I have raised up one from the north, and he has come, from the rising of the sun, one who calls on my name, and he shall come on rulers as on mortar, and as the potter treads clay.

He pours contempt on princes, and loosens the belt of the strong.

Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant. I have also given the animals of the field to him to serve him.

Yahweh said to him,“ Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus. When you arrive, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria.

“ Behold, there was another animal, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth. They said this to it:‘ Arise! Devour much flesh!’

Who has raised up one from the east? Who called him to his foot in righteousness? He hands over nations to him and makes him rule over kings. He gives them like the dust to his sword, like the driven stubble to his bow.

For a nation comes up out of the north against her, which will make her land desolate, and no one will dwell in it. They have fled. They are gone, both man and animal.

Then I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns. The two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

PERES: your kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.”Then Belshazzar commanded, and they clothed Daniel with purple, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.In that night Belshazzar the Chaldean King was slain.

Then the king’s face was changed in him, and his thoughts troubled him; and the joints of his thighs were loosened, and his knees struck one against another.

“ Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Behold, it has not been bound up, to apply medicines, to put a bandage to bind it, that it become strong to hold the sword.Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:‘ Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong arm, and that which was broken. I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand; but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before the king of Babylon with the groaning of a mortally wounded man.
