耶和華膏古列、執其右手、服列國於其前、去諸王之腰束、啟其邑門、俾不復閉、

耶和華告受膏古列曰、我左右爾、使列國賓服、使諸王荏弱、大啟邑門、不能閉拒。

受膏王古列、為我耶和華所立、我扶其右手、使列國降服其前、使諸王柔弱無力、使諸邑門啟於其前、不得閉之、我對之如是曰、

“ This is what the Lord says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

“ Cyrus is my anointed king. I take hold of his right hand. I give him the power to bring nations under his control. I help him strip kings of their power to go to war against him. I break city gates open so he can go through them. I say to him,

Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed:

This is what the Lord says to Cyrus, his anointed one, whose right hand he will empower. Before him, mighty kings will be paralyzed with fear. Their fortress gates will be opened, never to shut again.

The LORD says this to Cyrus, his anointed, whose right hand I have grasped to subdue nations before him and disarm kings, to open doors before him, and even city gates will not be shut:

This is what the Lord says to Cyrus His anointed, Whom I have taken by the right hand, To subdue nations before him And to undo the weapons belt on the waist of kings; To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

“ Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held— To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut:

Thus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him, and I will loose the loins of kings; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

The Lord says this to Cyrus, His anointed, whose right hand I have grasped to subdue nations before him, to disarm kings, to open the doors before him and the gates will not be shut:

Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

This is what the LORD says to his chosen one, to Cyrus, whose right hand I hold in order to subdue nations before him, and disarm kings, to open doors before him, so gates remain unclosed:

Yahweh says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him, and strip kings of their armor; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

你們要磨尖箭頭，拿起盾牌（“拿起盾牌”《七十士譯本》譯作“裝滿箭袋”）；耶和華定意要毀滅巴比倫，所以激動瑪代諸王的心；這是耶和華的報復，就是為他的殿而施行的報復。

“我是耶和華，再沒有別的神了；除了我以外，並沒有真神；你雖然不認識我，我必堅固你，

波斯王古列元年，耶和華為要應驗他藉耶利米的口所說的話，就激動波斯王古列的心靈，使他通令全國，傳達文告說：

河閘都被打開，宮殿也給摧毀了。

我向我特選的軍兵下了命令；我也呼召了我的勇士，就是我那些驕傲自誇的人，去執行我在怒氣中所要作的。

刀劍必攻擊迦勒底人，攻擊巴比倫的居民，攻擊它的領袖和智慧人。”這是耶和華的宣告。

我從北方興起一人，他就來了；他從日出之地而來，呼求我的名；他必來踐踏掌權的，好像踐踏灰泥，又像陶匠踹泥一樣。

他把羞辱傾倒在王子上，又鬆開壯士的腰帶。

現在我已經親自把這一切國家都交在我僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，連田野的走獸，我也交給他，供他奴役。

耶和華對他說：“你離去吧，從你來的路回到大馬士革的曠野去。你到了那裡，就要膏哈薛作亞蘭王。

我又看見另一隻獸，就是第二隻獸；牠和熊相似，挺起一邊的身軀，口中的牙齒銜著三根肋骨。有人這樣對牠說：‘起來，吃多量的肉吧！’

誰從東方激動了一個人，憑公義把他召到自己的腳前來？他把列國交在他面前，他制伏眾王；他使他們在他的刀下化作灰塵，他使他們在他的弓下像碎稭一樣被吹散。

因為有一個國家從北方來攻擊它，使它的地荒涼；沒有人在那裡居住，人畜都逃跑無蹤。

我舉目觀看，看見一隻公綿羊，站在河邊；牠有兩個角，兩角都很高，但高低不一；那較高的角是較遲長出來的。

‘毘勒斯’（“毘勒斯”即“烏法珥新”的單數式）就是你的國要分裂，歸給瑪代人和波斯人。”於是伯沙撒下令，人就把紫袍給但以理穿上，把金鍊戴在他的頸上，又宣告他在國中掌權，位列第三。當夜，迦勒底人的王伯沙撒被殺。

就臉色大變，心意驚惶，兩腳無力，雙膝彼此相碰。

“人子啊！我折斷了埃及王法老的膀臂；看哪！沒有人把它包紮治療，沒有人用繃帶把它纏裹，好讓它有力量拿起刀來。因此，主耶和華這樣說：‘看哪！我與埃及王法老為敵；我必打斷他有力的膀臂，和已經折了的膀臂，使刀從他的手中掉下。我必把埃及人分散到列邦，四散在各地。“‘我必使巴比倫王的膀臂有力量，把我的刀交在他手中；我要折斷法老的膀臂，使他在巴比倫王面前呻吟，像一個受傷快死的人一樣。
